Description: 4 of us
watched an object cross they sky. It, although hard to tell at night,
looked to be about 8000ft high. It was too large to be a satellite or
shooting star. When it moved it seemed to ever so slightly modify it's
speed and it also curved slightly as it travelled as to not take a
straight or constant path. It took about 20-25 sec to get from one side
to the other. It came from behind a building and flew over a park. It
moved from South to North.
As it was getting further
away it got steadily dimmer until it faded to a red light with 2 faint
blue one's either side. The lights then went out. It was not as if it
got too far to see, the lights just seemed to dim out. The object made
no sound.

Description: Driving down
Mundijong road towards Rockingham I noticed an extremely bright star. It
was so low and so bright that I thought it must be a plane but it did
not flicker once and seemed to only move slightly in the one spot very
suddenly. It was in view the entire length of Mundijong Road. I turned
left onto Baldivis Road and lost it to my right. I then turned right
onto my estate and should have been able to have a perfect view and it
was gone. I looked for half hour and it did not return.
TV/Radio: No I did not
report to anyone other than family and a friend.

Description: We (Myself
and My Mum) Where driving home from a bodyshop party at 10.00pm Friday
night. We seen a cars head lights shining over the top of the hedges
around the corner, just before we got around the corner we dipped our
car head lights, we were only 300 meters away from our house, and half
way between our house and the corner sat two head lights, (well what we
thought where headlights) the light was fairly bright, and I was waiting
for them to dip their lights, but it didn't happen, we were around 200
meters away from the lights, then the lights went off to the side of the
road and were just gone. (There was no roads or gates or clear open
paddocks, that if it was a car, it had nowhere to turn) The lights just
disappeared, it was crazy.

sight. Cool night.
Description: I was outside
having a cigarette when I routinely scanned the sky for UFOs (a habit I
have, and that has proven successful on two other occasions). I saw an
elongated, possibly cigar-shaped object, sitting in the sky with
flashing lights along its side. I stayed for 10 minutes and it did not
move. I kept checking back and it still didn't move. After half an hour
it was gone.

Observation: Just witnessed a strange object in the sky for about 3
mins.
I
live about 15kms north of central Wollongong, NSW. Went outside and
looked south toward the city. In the sky was an extremely bright object
maybe 5-10kms from my position. At first it moved upward very quickly,
which caught my attention. Too fast to be a helicopter. It was an
immensely bright white light. It hovered for about a minute with a light
shining toward the ground at an angle. This light was also white. It
began
ascending into cloud cover with the beam of light remaining pointed at
the
ground. I then saw it turn off some lights but the beam remained focused
toward the ground. It then moved even higher into the clouds, and
further
away from me with the beam of light clearly visible against the clouds.
Then, all the lights simply turned off. I heard no sound the entire
time.
Just wanted to report it and hope that someone else may have seen it.
Could be an ETV but my hunch is that its some sort of govt black op or
ARV
(alien reproduction vehicle).

backyard. It was shaped
like a diamond / rectangle, at first we were
wondering if it was a
kite, but soon rejected this idea as it smoothly
travelled across the sky
from the north west going towards south east,
in a steady direct motion, below cloud
level, in its continuous soundless
flight. We don't know how
big it was as this depended on the distance
between us and it. We have
no idea what it was and would love to find
out if possible??
Description:
flew past. It travelled so smoothly,
maintaining its height, direction and
speed (not at all like it
was travelling on the wind). It kept going until
it was a tiny dot in the
sky and we couldn't see it any longer in the
distance. It did not
deviate at all off its path. There was 5 of us that
watched it and thought it
looked like a diamond or a slightly rectangle
shape, solid black in
colour.
Location: Populated
suburban area of Canberra. There were 5 of us that
watched it and are all

to work out its actual
size, as it would later seem that it was much
bigger than a kite.

Observation: While observing a
bright light which has been appearing on a
regular basis in the western sky
(see my other report) I saw some flashing
lights out of the corner of my
eye. I was shocked to see a craft flying
quietly over my house with no
noise and traveling
over Lake Munmorah. The rear was
clearly visible as I was already looking
through binoculars at the other
light. There were two tail lights on
either corner of the object,
which were both flashing at the same time at
one second intervals. These
lights were extremely bright very much like
strobe lights. There were no other
coloured lights visible.

Observation: I was driving to
the Gold Coast with my parents in the car,
we were just out of Moree -
heading towards Goondiwindi. Something caught
my attention at the top of the
windscreen so I leant forward, looked up,
and saw brightly coloured
across the top of the car - I
was driving over 100km/h. I said to my
mother, whom was in
the passenger
looked up and said "No, What is
that?". At that point the lights shot off
to the left (NW) across the
paddock. Looking out across the paddock I saw
five or six different
side to side like a pendulum.
The group closest to the road became
horizontal, changed colour to
white, and travelled just above the ground
along-side the road towards us.
When it was behind us I looked around and
it shot straight up in the air
and was gone. My father was turned around
in the back seat, looking out
the back window into the sky and said, "It
just shot straight up." He then
said "Just forget it, forget what you saw,
don't say anything to anyone."
Mum wanted to stop, but I wouldn't. I noticed
I had slowed right down and sped up.
A bit further on there was a
green light that looked to have come out of
the top of a silo and flew
across the sky at an astonishing speed until I
couldn't see it any more. The
rest of the trip was spent peering out the
windows, up into the night sky, looking.
Description:
I didn't see any shape behind
the lights - but I was driving and trying to
keep the car on the road - but
mum said the thing that flew over the car
was a huge round shaped craft at
least fifty foot in diameter and dark. My
parents also saw what they
describe as a small aircraft at a dam, that
looked like it was going to land
but took off again. Mum later said the
first thing that came to mind
when she saw it was a grass-hopper. The
craft by the dam looked like a
grass-hopper.
Location: Traveling NE from Moree towards Goodiwindi.
Other Witnesses: We would all
like to remain anonymous, however, there
was myself (driving) Mother
(passenger) Father (left rear seat). I now
remember that there was a 4x4
parked well off the side of the road and it
had a revolving yellow strobe on top,
like a council truck.
Apparent Size
car was big. The lights out in the
paddock were basket ball sized maybe.

above the ground and as high as a tree.

2008 to watch for falling stars.
At 20:55 hours, I saw two light points
travelling from the south to
north. When these two lights intersected, I
saw a third light. All three
lights crossed each others path and then flew
in a straight line for a while
until the distances between the three
objects became greater. The
first object then continued north, the second
in a N/E direction and the third
object flew east. All three objects flew
in a straight line. They did not
have blinking lights as civilian aircraft
would and they flew in an upward
trajectory until we could no longer see
them.
Description:

ascertain as it was night and the
objects did not cross any buildings.

the way back around 7.30 p.m heading south down the Hume Hwy I
noticed a
very bright light. I pointed it out to my mate who had come along
for the
ride we both said what the hell is that. The object came towards us
from a
West I pulled the truck over to the side of the road we got out to
have a
better look.
As the object got closer it split into 4 lights the points of light
formed
a star some what like the positions of a compass. The lights started
flashing in a rotating motion red green blue yellow. The object went
right
over the top of us, it was really strange very unlike a normal plane
this
thing had no tail or wings and travelled around 15 to 20 klm with no
sound.
Description:
plate at arms length, it was lying lower than any light aircraft
fly. I
travel a lot picking up and delivering goods at all times of the day
and
am familiar with aircraft light systems and this thing was totally
different.
We got back in the truck and drove on down the Hume Hwy were we saw
other vehicles pulled over looking up. As we drove down the road we
again
noticed more star like objects moving around in the sky. We pulled
over
again and got out to look the object were going off in all
directions west
east east west. I think there must have been around 30 or more of
these
objects, it was amazing to watch I have never seen anything like it.

Observation: I am 12 years old then. I am
running outside, to call my younger
brother inside for dinner. He is sitting on top
of a pergola area, which
he has climbed with his scool friend, Jxx. They
are both about 9 years
old. As I run to the backyard, I look up at them
both on top of the
pergola. "Jaxx, Jxx, its time for...", that is
all I can get out as my
jaw drops, and I am absolutely speechless as I
just slowly point to the
sky, just above where they are sitting. I stare,
frozen, as I see a bright
pink, room-sized 'ball' shape just hovering
several meters
freeze, all I can do is point. They turn around
and look up, and scream as
they see the ufo fighting to clamber down thew
pergola. I turn and run,
screaming, back inside. They follow. We all have
the same account
of what we saw. Inside, I yelled to my parents
that we had seen something.
Dad, in disbelief, pulled back the curtains.
"There is nuthin there" he
said. "Dad...look.
of some kind, which was moving in an
uncontrolled, zig-zag motion across
the sky. Up, down, diagonally it zoomed, in
sharp, quick, sporadic
movements...

Observation: Monday 17
March 2008 I observed a bright spherical white
light UFO, judged to be
about 10m (30ft) in diameter, appearing to look
twice the size and
brightness of Venus, observed at 7.50 pm daylight
savings time (6.50 eastern
standard time) at dusk from my home at Jones
Road Wooyung, 1.5 km
inland from Wooyung Beach in the Tweed - Byron Shire
area and viewed for about
5 minutes. First observed travelling slowly
south, directly towards me
at approximately 1000m above ground, moving
through scattered clouds
with occasional stars visible above & with a half
moon shining brightly to
the north.
At first I wondered if it
was the landing lights of an aircraft that had
taken off from Coolangatta
Airport and was travelling much further east
than such aircraft
normally do. However, no red, green or strobe lights
were visible & no noise
emanated from the craft. It was travelling through
low light cloud & almost
disappeared when travelling through a dense cloud
before re-emerging into
light cloud & clear sky.
As it passed directly
over-head I observed and then heard the approach of
a commercial airliner on
descent to Coolangatta Airport flying north 1km
off the Northern NSW
coast. The bright spherical white light UFO then
changed course and curved
towards the north east so that it was obviously
in a collision course with
the airliner. The UFO remained at the same
elevation & speed and
passed through a denser cloud. This caused its
appearance to change so
that the light at the rear of the object extended
a short distance and its
shape now appeared to be like a comet with a
short tail, the entire
object perhaps 20m (60ft)in length and still almost
directly overhead.
Emerging from the dense
cloud it then regained its original appearance & I
was able to view both the
airliner with its normal landing lights, red,
green, strobe lights, and
faint pilot & passenger window lights all
visible contrasting with
the bright spherical white light UFO converging
on it. Even though I was
now viewing the unidentified object from behind
as it continued its curved
course to the northeast it still looked the
same as when it was first
approaching me.
It then occurred to me
that the bright white object should be clearly
visible to passengers on
the left hand side of the airliner & approaching
them on a possible
collision course. Both the airliner and the UFO were
travelling at the same
speed and elevation with the airliner travelling
north and the UFO
travelling northeast. The UFO then appeared to pass
directly in front of the
airliner perhaps 300 to 400 metres away and
should have been clearly
visible to the pilots. It was difficult to judge
if the UFO was just above,
below or at the exact elevation of the airliner
but the difference would
not have been more than about 50 metres.
Even though the UFO was
now travelling away from me & I was therefore
viewing it from behind, it
looked identical as to when it was approaching
me & when directly
overhead. Both airliner and UFO passed behind trees. I
spent some time afterwards
keeping a watch in case it returned but saw
nothing else unusual.
Description: The UFO
remained at the same elevation & speed but changed
direction so that it would
intersect the flight path of a commercial
airliner. It passed
through a dense cloud that caused its appearance to
change so that the light
at the rear of the object extended a short
distance and its shape now
appeared to be like a comet with a short tail,
the entire object perhaps
20m (60ft)in length and still almost directly
overhead. It was silent.

Tweed - Byron Shire area, Northern NSW.

Other Experiences:
1st, 2nd & 3rd sightings:
the first 3 in the late 1960's looked like
707-type aircraft flying
low behind the Gold Coast travelling south late
at night, much lower than
normal southbound from Brisbane airliners &
travelling silently and
brilliantly illuminated from within like a
continuous strobe light
shining out of the pilot & passenger windows, my
brother was with me when
we observed them.
4th sighting: In about
1970 at dusk near Sydney I once saw a bright white
light hovering in the sky
a couple of hundred metres directly above a
tugboat motoring north
along & parallel to the coast & about five hundred
metres out to sea. At
first I thought that the bright white light was a
flare but it just hovered
at the same height & followed above the ship for
five minutes.
Then in a completely
cloudless sky I noticed a small round cloud 30 to 40
metres in diameter coming
along by itself at the same altitude as the
light but travelling north
at a faster speed. The cloud caught up to the
light & surrounded it so
that the light could no longer be seen & then the
cloud, which was only the
same size as the tug boat, slowed down &
continued to drift north
above the boat until both moved out of view 15 to
20 minutes later.
5th sighting: In early
1970's I saw a star-like object behind the Gold
Coast travelling north
11pm at night and as it passed overhead at about
the normal level of
aircraft and at the speed of a jet fighter, it was
clearly undertaking a
continuous falling-leaf zigzag motion side -to-side,
which was only observable
when it was directly overhead, other wise from a
distance it just looked
like a tiny wobble & there was no sound. My
girlfriend was with me
when we observed it.
6th sighting: was a
reddish-white egg-shaped object travelling slowly
north behind the Gold
Coast below very dense cloud cover during a blackout
on Sunday 15 January 1973
at 9-30 pm. Six friends were with me when we
observed it. I have
newspaper reports of that incident viewed by many
people & will photocopy it
for you.
7th & 8th sightings: were
identical objects viewed each time through
binoculars, a cigar-shaped
object or disc with 3 elongated yellow-white
lights along the side
travelling south, low altitude, at dusk, at
Townsville in January 1975
and then in February 1975 on Gold Coast,
travelling north, low
altitude, at dusk.
9th & 10th sightings: were
on Sunshine Coast March 1975 at Eudlo 11pm at
night, a dozen
satellite-like objects following each other equally spaced
a 6th of the sky apart
travelling south with another dozen satellite-like
objects following each
other equally spaced a 6th of the sky apart
travelling west and which
perfectly intersected the south -bound craft in
the centre of the sky. Not
long afterwards 3 lights in perfect formation
travelled low overhead,
could have been 3 helicopters but only a distant
sound like a train in a
distant tunnel was heard, about 35 of us saw
these.
11th sighting: in 1984 saw
a bright light travelling east over Tamborine
Mountain.
12th sighting: in 2002 saw
a bright light travelling north over northern
NSW at dusk, 2 other
witnesses & I sent you a report on this list.
13th Sighting: A bright
light star-like object dropping straight down from
the sky through the clouds
late at night on the Tweed Coast on my way
back home from a UFO
meeting in Brisbane.
14th Sighting: a bright
amber star-like object low in the night sky above
Byron Bay that I watched
for 20 minutes & which I mistook for the planet
Mars, disappeared when I
went inside to tell others that they should look
at how bright Mars had
brightened. Mars came up a couple of hours later in
the same spot but only
half as bright.
15th Sighting: at midday
on Wednesday, 3 September 2003 whilst stopped
at a traffic light at the
intersection of Marine Parade and Gold Coast Highway,
Labrador, and looking out
of my open driver's side window at the Broadwater
on a cloudless day, with
no other cars passing, my eyes were attracted to a
bright light a couple of
hundred metres away and about 50 metres above
the water. It looked like
the sun was reflecting off of a solid object such as
a hovering aircraft which
at first I thought must be a helicopter. As I gazed
at the object, which was
stationary, I realised that it was identical to the
"scoutship" photographed
by George Adamski on 13 December 1952. It was
domed on top and with a
flanging bell-shaped base.
I thought that it was
probably just an illusion of the sun shining off the
side of a helicopter when
it suddenly vanished & I expected to see the
dark shape of a known
aircraft but there was nothing in the sky at all.
It then occurred to me
that there was also no sound of an aircraft such
as a helicopter hovering
over the water. I watched for a while but nothing
reappeared.
16th sighting: at dusk
from my home at Jones Road Wooyung, viewed for
about 2 minutes in clear
sky, a craft that revealed itself as 3 red lights
in a horizontal plane
flying north 1km off the Northern NSW coast directly
above a commercial
airliner on descent to Coolangatta Airport. The UFO
remained exactly above the
airliner, perhaps 100m at all times until they
passed behind trees.

Observation:
friends early in the morning, I noticed a bright orange light,
comparable
to a street light, moving in a westerly direction over Mount
Gambier. I
brought this to the attention of the 3 friends I was with, all of
whom
also witnessed the light. Initially the light maintained a
steady velocity,
then began to slow and appeared to hover. At this point, the light
appeared
to move south slightly, then north, travelling only just faster than
a hover.
It again came to a halt and appeared to hover, then the light's
intensity
appeared to diminish. Its brightness fluctuated for several moments
before
completely fading away. The light traversed open sky initially, and
after
that under dense cloud cover.
Description:

I initially
believed the light to be from an aircraft, until it came closer and
no other lights
were visible (e.g.. nav lights, beacons, strobes etc.)

easternly direction i noticed bright object (like a star) approx
10-15km
south easternly (looked like it was heading in north-easternly
direction),
approx few hundred meters in height(pretty high). i told my wife about
it
and she saw it also. at 1st i thought maybe it was aluminium type
baloon
but it was moving erratically and faster then a baloon, changing
directions. then we noticed several(3-4) other star type objects also
further out south/easternly direction. this object we noticed headed
towards other objects and then they disappeared. what was interesting
was
that 1st object we noticed moved in north-easternly direction and then
changed to south-easternly direction.

Merrimac. I got home and parked my bike . I fought I walked into a
spiders web
and looked up . then thats when I saw about 4 to 6 Bright
orange
lights. more like pale lights, height about 1 klm but seem lower.
First
thought it was the local Hot air Balloon people doing night flying.
But with no
nav lights , they wouldn't be allowed. Plus there was no noise
of the
burners.

saw the objects too plus some of the neighbours. We watched
as the
Objects about five move slowly across the sky. I had a pair of
binoculars,
and used them to see closer. At the height they were at I
fought I
could see better. An hour had passed by then and lights were
no
longer together. Some moved away fast in another direction, soon to
disappear.
Feet were very sore by this time , so we concluded at we had
seen our
very first UFO . Next day there were new reports about others
sightings of
the Orange light all over Gold Coast.

was along Highfield Drive, Merrimac. Right next to Highway.
At time
there were not many houses in the area. No brights from Sporting
venues. Only
noise of trucks going pass every now and then .

parked on about the
8th-10th floor in a multistorey carpark in Adelaide
city centre with a view to
the west. Whilst we were deep in conversation
about the universe a small
yellowy-white light appeared from behind a
building in the western
sky. The object moved in very odd directions,
almost buzzing around like
an insect, up-down and sideways. The object
would come into sight,
then dart back behind the building, then creep out
again fly around and shoot
back behind the building. This continued on and
off for about 5 minutes.
It was almost like it was playing a game with us?
It looked as though the
object was quite far away, hovering just up above
the horizon out over the
ocean. The object was much larger than a star or
planet appears in the sky.
It was truly awesome.

slightly larger (visually)to the brightest star in the Eastern sky,
flew
from North-West to South-East over the town of Harden, NSW. The
light flew
at a low altitude, similar to that of a light aircraft approaching
a landing strip.
No strobe lights observed and no sound emitted whatsoever.
Light did not follow the usual flight paths, and seemed to fluctuate
in
speed- flying in a slightly sinuous flight path. Light seemed to fly
in an
extremely minute zigzagging
South-East in the direction of Canberra. The light diminished to the
size
of a small star then suddenly disappeared. Aircraft following the
usual
flight paths were observed within five minutes of the sightings-
lights on
those aircraft were not like the one observed.

Description:
for a plane. A big ball of white light. It was moving accross my eye
vision. Not rapidly, for about 20 seconds. Then I started to walk on the
road so the trees didn't block my vision. It changed direction to move
away into the distance. Within 2 seconds it changed directions and
quickly
gathered speed, in 3 seconds all of a sudden it rocketed away into a
smaller dot and then tiny speck, and then disappeared (all within a few
seconds). I noted to myself there are no clouds so it couldn't have gone
behind a cloud. I am amazed. No sound whatsoever.
Location: Got off from Leawarra train station, walking up Hill Street
Frankston. The object seemed about 1km in front of me, and 2-3km in the
sky.

Embleton. As I neared the traffic lights at the intersection of
Walter and
Beechborough Rd's I noticed a long thin silver object at about
45 degrees to
my left at about 1 o/clock in the sky. At first I thought it was
just a plane,
however I kept looking as I wasn't entirely sure. It seemed
to be going a little
fast for an aircraft and seemed to be pointing down
at about a 20
degrees . As I watched the object vanished before my eyes!
From my vantage it
was a long thin polished silver object about the size
of a small plane
with a blue hue toward its trailing end. My daughter and
I saw a similar
object in Guildford a couple of weeks ago. At the time we
weren't sure if it
was a plane or not. We did pull over to try to
photograph it but it
also had vanished.
I hope
you don't think I'm seeing things as this is the second report
I've
made in the last
month or so. I do make an effort to look out for them,
and my daughter's
have both seen at least one with me.

I could not see any blinking lights and there wouldn't have been any planes about at that time anyway, nor could I hear any sound. I noticed it was moving towards a very bright star. I opened the screen door for a better look and figured it was also moving quite slowly. Still not believing what I was seeing, I averted my eyes to call my cat and within 20 seconds or so, looked back up and it had completely disappeared. Two Orange Lights
gliding towards us, from Upper FTG way. Round 11pm.
One Orange light was
very bright, the other was dimmer.
The dimmer one seemed to be circling the brighter one, as though
it was clearing the
way or protecting it...
Once they were above us, & they weren't that high, we could see a
darker outline of a
saucer shape of the brighter shinning one, the
dimmer one had none,
at least, that we could see.
They glided off towards Boronia/Wantirna area's before fading out. It was very 'eerie' but calming at the same time. Way back in early 1999, we also witnessed '12' Orange lights coming
from the Dandenong
Ranges, they came towards us, only this time we
got ALL the neighbours
from the surrounding 7 units to come out &
see, (cos this was our
first encounter & we were very baffled), which
our neighbours did, it
was incredible, we all saw these 12 orange lights,
go single file, then
double up, then single file again before heading
towards the Full Moon
& creating the "Gemini" formation in front of
the moon, before very
slowly fading out.
*I actually reported this experience to the UFO hotline which was
located out in the
hills, to no avail, only receiving a phone bill the
following month
costing us $395.00 to explain what we had seen.....,

There were around 10 lights in total, although as the visibility wasn't ideal it was hard to count as they tended to blur from the hovering motion. The lights slightly illuminated the shape of the object which was not entirely smooth, but it was a discus form overall. Description: The first sighting was between 3 and 4am a friend and I wanted to get some food from the service station at the end of his street in Long Jetty. We then headed down to Tuggerah lake we stayed there for about 20 minutes before deciding to leave, we were walking up Surf street (east) talking when suddenly my friend yelled I looked up and saw an extremely fast white streak of light go overhead then disappear in a blink of an eye. My friend and I were terrified and went back to his house wonder what we had just seen and concluded that we had no idea what it was. After we calmed down (around 5:20am) I suggested we go down to Towoon Bay because neither of us could get to sleep. A few minutes passed then my friend stood up and faced South which has a direct view of Crackneck lookout, I stood up as well and we talked for a bit longer until I noticed that two fiery orange lights (i know it sounds weird but that's the only way I can describe them) which earlier we had just thought they were tankers in the ocean (all the other tankers still had lights on). The fiery orange lights started to dim then get increasingly bright, one of the two didn't move for a while but the other one got incredibly bright and slowly moved behind Crackneck (this convinced me that we were seeing UFO's), then the light that didn't move seemed to disappear for about 20 seconds. My friend noticed another light but it was small and red and moving very slowly it seemed to be a small plain moving slowly over Crackneck flying very close to where the first orange light was, the plane moved away a little as the first light came back but only dim as if it were very far away then got brighter again. I then noticed another orange light about half way over Crackneck at the same time the light that moved behind Crackneck re-appeared and another plane flew over it. We then decided to get a better look and headed closer to Crackneck. We were now at Shelley beach, it was around 6am and suddenly there was an incredibly bright flash off of the peak of Crackneck (I'm not sure what this was) the flash kept going and the orange lights disappeared and we didn't see them again. We were walking through Shelley beach golf course and there were still soft flashes, by this time we thought that it must just be someone taking photos off of the peak but the first flash seemed far to bright for a camera. A car drove up to Crackneck just after the flashing stopped, this pretty much confirms that it was nothing special but we walked to Crackneck anyway this was about 6:30am and was the last object we seen even though I think it was nothing. I did not see a UFO but a strange light source in the night sky. I have just now come inside from my 1st floor balcony where I went to find out what was causing the bright flashing light I kept seeing out of the corner of my eye. For the past 15 minutes I have been watching the flashing light since I first noticed it about 20 minutes ago. It was in 6metres above the horizon, in the north, coming from Bonny Hills direction. Although after 11pm it lit up the sky, showing it as blue and clear with stars and only a few white fluffy clouds, that seemed to hide the source of the lightning bright flashing light. It did not seem to be lightning, although at least as bright, as there was no sound and the flash always appeared to be coming from the same white fluffy cloud and there was no line or fork type light, just a round silent glow like a very bright sun partially appearing from behind the large fluffy white cloud behind my neighbour's trees. I've not seen or heard of anything like this before so am curious. This is a populated coastal area so, even though it is late, hopefully others will have seen it too. The sky has now returned to black and the bright, dark golden glow is gone but there are still flashes of light like waves of thin white clouds when I open the tinted glass doors. It was Wards Crescent, which was the closest little village was Oyster Bay. Georges River. Oyster Bay. Which the nearest big town at that time was Como, which is not far from Sydney. I think, 1955. I was seven or eight years old. Eight I think. I heard this noise and I walked out on the veranda of the boathouse and a football, a rugby football-shaped metal flying object went directly over head, fairly slowly. Maybe 100 mph or something, with some sort of loud engine noise like a jet perhaps, and flew directly over my house and across the Georges River. I didn't think much of it at the time. But the next day, a young friend visited me and asked if I had seen the flying saucer, and I realized then that's what he was talking about. I never followed up on it, but I wonder now if there were any reports in the newspaper and I wonder if it might have been the Vampire Jet, which had a fuselage similar to what I saw. I would say it would have been at least 7 foot tall. It did not look at me but was looking at this statue. Number of witnesses: 2 + Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Saucer Shape Weather Conditions: Cloudy, windy Description: I was driving east along Marangaroo Drive in Girrawheen with my 15year old daughter in the passenger seat of my car on the night of the sighting. 1 boy on a bike darted in front of my car, just before the Girrawheen shops on that same road, and rode as fast as he could in a north west direction. I swore as I had to brake to allow him to get across the road. Another boy followed and only stopped to wait for my car. He followed his friend as fast as he could, crossing just behind my car. I commented to my daughter at the time that they looked like they were trying to get away after committing a crime or getting caught doing something wrong. As I drove, what I thought was a plane came into view and I said to my daughter, "Is that a plane. Oh my God, that plane's going to crash." It seemed to be just above houses ahead of us heading east. After driving further and becoming closer to 'the plane' we noticed it hover then completely change direction towards us (west). My daughter starting crying and repeating, 'That's not a plane. That's not a plane" when she undid her seat-belt the car under the glove box crying and screaming. The object was to the right of us, above some houses and seemed to be the size of the foundation of a small house. At that point it became very clear that the object was not a plane. It was a saucer shape with white lights around the underside (in a circle) on the outer part of the bottom of the saucer. These lights flashed around and changed to blue and red but were predominately white. The middle of the underside of the object just seemed blank - black. The object then hovered for some time and changed direction again heading east. There was a car driving in the right hand lane next to us and as the object was almost directly above us but to our right I looked over at the driver who mouthed "Oh My God", while looking up at the object, as I did so. I was feeling total fear at this point although I don't know if it's because of pre-conceived ideas and ideas presented in the media/movies about UFO's. At some point my daughter fumbled for her phone and went to video the sighting. I yelled at her to put it away in case 'they' saw us. They being whatever was in the object. I don't know why I said this but thought if they did see us something bad would happen. I put my foot down and sped to my house at the time with the object now behind me, not far from the sighting (within a kilometer or 2). We bolted into the house, closed all blinds and turned off all lights and huddled in my study where I phoned the police and the Perth Observatory. The police assured me that no-one had called in with sightings and referred me to the Perth Observatory. The guy at the observatory laughed at me and implied that I was drunk or on drugs. I was neither and further, do not touch drugs and rarely drink alcohol. I assured him that on this night, over a period of approximately 5 hours, I had consumed 1 Vodka cruiser over the course of the night as I would be driving - but I never drink to excess anyway. The next day I also rung the national UFO hotline number and left a message and my number but the call was not returned. As there were quite a few cars on the road that night I expected that the sighting would be all over the news the next day. I listened to the radio and watched the news but there was no mention of any sighting. I also googled UFO sightings on that day in Perth. I rang the friends where we had spent the evening having dinner and they presented many different options including meteorites as there had been a meteorite shower that night and the police helicopter. It was neither and was very definitely a saucer shaped object as described. The picture of the object is so vivid in my mind and both my daughter and myself now watch the sky whenever we drive anywhere now. After relaying the events of this night to a few select people and seeing their reactions (as if we were crazy or saw something ordinary that we thought was a UFO) we have told no-one else. No sound...it was a disc shape but could have had a hollow centre..looked a bit like a ring dough- nut. Not a shooting star or meteorite..I have seen plenty to know the difference.. then it would have been big...anybody else see it. Sighting lasted approximately 3 seconds.

rang the Forster Police and told them what we where seeing we were
worried that it may have been a flare as we had a view out over the
ocean, they asked for general directions and said they would take a

so, as it was an unidentified object in the sky. It was also spotted at

Observation: I was an security guard at Greenbank Army
Training Area.
This is an restricted area and I do not want my Name to be published with
this article. I am one of two guards
who has seen these advents on
different nights. After doing a patrol at an 800mtr
rifle range and
leaving the site,the whole area lit up orange. I
quickly reverse back so
I could see down the range. I saw it at a distance of
aprox 1km, it was
1cm height and which lasted about 20 seconds. Thats
makes it 10 storeys
high. It was an orange triangle above the treeline I
look on the millary
map for this area which is a restricted map. It did not
allow anything
that high to just disapear, a distance of 2 kms away had a
deep gully that
could be use to hide an object this height, the rifle range
also has a
very high dirt embankment at this end. Both of us also
seen great
explosion of light in the restrict area. The restrict
area is inside the
ring road that surrounds all of the different ranges.
This area has been
off limits since world war 2, when it was a American
Army/Navy Quarters
and storage area. This infomation is in the state archives.
We were told
never to go into this area as it has unexploded ordinates.
As it is an
restricted area it would be a good hidden spot for UFO
activites. With
the explosion of lights we saw, no sound, just rainbows of
white and
purple flashes, lasting some 10 seconds each.
Also not long before I left there, I had an encounter which I
cannot find
an answer to. I was doing a patrol about 2:30 am, I was
checking one of
the buildings in our patrol run. It has an rifle range
next to it, it a
building for reparing targets. Aprox 8 mtrs from the
building is a small
group of trees durning the day you can see thru them.
These trees are
between the building and the rifle range. We also have
brumby's on site.
These horses were there grazing on the range. They were aprox
6 mtrs past
the trees. As I started to climb the wooden stairs, a
very LOUD roar sounded
behind these trees, I was quite alarmed and looked around saw
the horses
with a frighten looks on there faces and running away, I did
the same thing.
Maybe a yowie, who knows. I left this job not long after.
My thought on this matter was, could it be aa watch dog for
aliens. I
live next to the GBTA, have not seen any unusal objects just
unusal sounds
coming from inside this area. I feel some what safe as
there is a8' high
fence between us. One more thing I say is that I did a
google search for
houses in my area, It also showed the map of GBTA. You could
zoom down
to the area were I think the UFO was hiding. (But the Zoom is
restricted at a
certain height above the ground) This is in the gully I saw a
large head
looking up from a hole in the ground. I guess it was
some 2 mtrs round.
I have told other people about this and they all have laught
at me. Is
here I am.

noticed a bright star in
the west, about 20-30 degrees above the horizon,
it was a beautiful night
so I stood and looked around a bit as usual, but
I noticed movement in this
star. Upon closer scrutiny it was obvious it
was moving.
After 10 years working in
the aviation industry, I instantly knew this was
not any regular
aircraft. I yelled out to my wife who came storming out,
quite annoyed with me
until she saw the object.
We then proceeded to watch
closely until 1.00 a.m I am also an amateur
astronomer, have been for
years, so I pulled out my medium sized reflecting
Casegrain telescope.
The object had the same
apparent magnitude
Description:
to be 60-100 miles away,
maybe even in low orbit.
It would move in quick
little circles, up, down, back and forward and
rapidly change from very
brilliant to almost indiscernible
This kept my wife and me
mesmerised until I noticed not one, but three of
these star like objects,
about 20 degrees apart, at slightly different
latitudes, all moving in
these erratic little motions.
One dipped below the
mountain line and came straight back up very quickly.
No helicopter or fighter
jet has lights that bright or can move and change
direction that quick, let
alone do these little acrobatics for 1.5 hrs in
much the same part of sky.

soon as I hit the motorway I notices a strange
cloudy substance in the
western sky with a scintillating
it, it had to of been
larger than a star.
What was strange to me was
there were two older aircrafts, I suppose what
looked like Cessna's as my
partner had put it. The aircrafts
a strange smoke trail.
As I continued to drive
the object was just hovering there, while the
little aircraft planes
were putting out a smoke trail.
I got home, and rushed
inside to grab out camera, all that was there at
the time was a pinpoint of
light. I showed my partner the object in the
sky and she hadn't seen
anything like it.
About 20 minutes later a
small aircraft flew over our house and towards the
Brisbane airport.
The light in the sky was
so strong that even a plane reflecting that type
of light would not make it
so bright. To me a silver object would only
reflect that type of
bright light.

was looking at the sunrise just above the
hills in the distance. I saw a small
bright dot with what
looked like a vapour trail that curved to disappear
over the hills and didn't
think much of it because I thought it may have
been a plane. Then I
talked to my mate for about 10 seconds and looked
back and saw another in a
different trajectory coming from a distance that
was way off where the
first one disappeared and looked exactly the same. I
looked away again for a
split second and it had no trail and was stationary
and just as I looked at it, it grew
in size very significantly
I turned around to tell my mate to
look at it (keeping in mind that it was
far from the top of the hills to
escape out of my vision in the time I looked
away), it had disappeared.

in their backyard and
looked up to see large pink (yes...rose pink)
structures in the sky. I
wondered if they were pink because it was about
the time of the sunset.
though I didn't think so. it didn't look like sun
colours and nothing else
was showing the same pink. There was about 3 of
them one closer than the
others. They were about the height of the large
mango tree in our place
next door but slightly further off.
they looked kind of like
spinning tops (almost an inverted conical shape)
with a larger roundish (bevelled)
section at the top with an area that
looked stratified
(horizontal) in the middle and a pointy (maybe bevelled
again) bottom. It
looked like it was made of industrial metal.
The colour seemed to be
an aura of sorts. I'm not sure if it was the
actual colour of the
machines hard to know they were gone in a couple of
seconds. I've always
wondered if I really saw them but I remember them
and they've always been
there in my memory. Description:

Observation:
on a bus on the way to see my dad in
Mount Gambier. My younger sister fell
asleep and my mum pointed out the
window for me to see. I looked to where
she was pointing and there was a shape
in the sky that kept flashing on
and off. It was kind of like a football
but a bit more round. My mum and I
knew it wasn't a plane or weather
balloon type thing.
#2 - In about mid 2001 and my eldest
brother had brought his girlfriend
over and her two sons. My sister, my
brother's two boys and I were on the
trampoline playing at night; about 8PM.
We laid down on the trampoline to
look at the sky for a second while we
rested our legs. We saw what looked
like stars but didn't pay much
attention before we started jumping again.
A few minutes later we jumped off
trampoline to play with the soccer ball.
We looked up at the sky again and the
'stars' were all clustered together
and moving around quickly, some were
blinking and some weren't. I felt a
bit weird for some reason, like I had
fuzzy stuff in my stomach (only way
to describe it). We got scared when we
saw the 'stars' doing that because
we had never seen that before. We ran
under the patio to where the adults
were and refused to go back out and
play.
Description:

in a cluster (almost all of the
stars we could see in the sky) and some
were blinking. They were moving
quickly and were silent.

two friends had gone out for a drive it was
around March/April
1990)we ended up in the back streets of Deer Park in a
brand new estate with
only a few new homes in this particular area, along
a railway line. Which is
now I believe The Caroline Springs area). We
drove into a little
court where we parked the car smoked cigarettes and
simply sat talking about
our upcoming overseas journey we were about to
embark on. As it started
to get late we decided we should be heading home,
so my friend started the
car and began to drive out of the court, when out
of nowhere right in
front of us hovering directly above/in front of the car,
appeared what we still
describe as an unbelievable sight. A Huge Huge UFO,
it was big, it was
shaped almost like a Volkswagen Shape, with the most
amazing bright lights
almost neon colored, flashing on and off,
illuminating the outline
and the shape of this incredible object/ufo. It
stopped us (the car) in
our tracks, and our jaws fell wide open, we didn't
move, we couldn't move,
we were completely awe struck and couldn't take
our eyes off it - we
couldn't believe what we were seeing and as we
watched this incredible
object hovering in front and above us, it felt as
though time had stopped
and everything was silent, it could have been
moments or minutes, but
it felt more like long minutes, and than as
suddenly as it appeared,
it was gone in a flash, disappeared.
We couldn't move and our
mouths were still wide open. We sat there for
some time trying to
absorb what we had just seen what we had just
witnessed.
I remember finally being
able to speak and all I could muster saying was
"Did you see that?" and
both of my friends replied with a stunned "Yes".
Description:

they flashed on they would light up the aircraft
especially the outline
of it, displaying just how enormous it was and when
they flashed off you
couldn't see the craft. It hovered without a sound
and when it was done, it
simply vanished in a flash. The colors from
memory were BLUE RED

developed. The nearest
main rd was Ballarat Rd Western Highway. The area
now is The Caroline
Springs area, however back in 1990 it was a lot of

too often about this

time running on a milk round, it was
still dark outside. I had been gazing
at the stars while hanging off the side
of the truck with my feet on the
running boards. I used to try and find
the southern cross on clear nights.
This one evening I'd found it I was
amazed to see another in close
proximity. I thought nothing of this at
the time. Another hour or so later
I looked to the heavens again, but the
first southern cross was moving. I
looked again to check, the little star
that sits at the bottom right
started to move from that position
moment and then started forward alone.
It moved some ways across
heavens, turned around, came back and
got the others. The whole lot of
them them moved in formation across
sight.

Zealand, as a child I'd play in an
abandoned army barrack with friends,
climbing up to the rafters and stomping
on the plaster boards. One time,
when we were in the ceiling, I looked
toward the end of the roof to where
a slatted wooden vent sat, triangular
in shape. I saw what only can be
described as a balloon with a sheet
over it pass through unbroken plaster
board and then through the steel roof.
We all saw this and ran home. 2
days later the place was burnt down.
Not by us but the army was using it
as fire training.

on a regular basis, for the fishing and I've made a
few friends over-
one of which has 125 acres on the north coast of the
island right on top
of a big hill at Snellings Beach it had just
passed 10 p.m around the 28th
of march 1998, date might be a day or two out, it
was a while ago
I was about to go to bed in my tent as I was camping,
I was listening to
the radio in my car parked on the hilltop
when I noticed a yellowish white
light on the hillside in the distance to the
east, I thought nothing of it
at first then I noticed it had moved from
when I first saw it, then I
thought hmmm there are no roads down there it must be
a guy on a
motorbike so I got out of my car, the thing is it
was a cloudy night the
stars or moon were not visible. I watched this light
and it was slowly
moving to the south, up the valley just above the
tree line, after watching
it for 5 mins I knew it was nothing man made, just
by the way it moved,
with this smooth fluid acceleration but the
movements were not random
it was as if something was making decisions on where
it was going
I watched the 1st light for under 10 mins and it
changed direction and
came straight across the valley up the hill towards
me, when its direction
changed toward me it went from the small tennis ball
dim yellow light to a
bright intense white white light and it became the
size of a dinner
plate. I think it came to within a km of me, then it
turned to the south, as
it turned it went back to the small yellow light,
that is when the hair
stood up on the back of my neck and I ran to my
friends shack a few
hundred meters away, I woke him up as he goes to bed
pretty early, I could
hardly get any words out, I was pretty scared, he
came out on the porch half
asleep and saw something without his glasses and he
didn't think much of it
so he went back to bed, I went back to my car by
myself and saw the light
down in the valley still, a bit to the south
so I continued watching it, at
times it would disappear behind trees and then rise
vertically 10 or so
seconds later and smoothly accelerate sometimes in a
bit of a zig zag
movement, I saw it sit there for a while on the
hillside and it started to
move further down the valley and it took off in 3
seconds it had traveled
3 or 4kms almost to the horizon, that's when another
yellow white light came
over the southern horizon and they sat together in
the distance, slowly the
two lights made their way back to where I had seen
the first light on the
eastern hillside, the two lights sat there for about
60 seconds and then
they went over the hillside and it was the last I saw
of them, I don't think
I went to bed until 3am that night I wanted to see
more!
but anyway that's what I saw and it still gives me
chills and goose-bumps
this day!
I watched these lights for 25 mins with no sound, my
mates girlfriend has
seen the same light a few years after I did and she
was quite frightened
by the experience, she said the same thing it came
right towards her as if
like a magnet I went into the local post office in Parndana the
next day and
asked if anyone had seen anything strange in the sky
last night she said I
was about the 10th person over the years that have
seen them.

not known for its good
