Event Description:
My friend and I were leaving a pizza place and as I looked down the street, I noticed something in the sky.

 It was a huge, gigantic cross shaped thing that was all black except for an outline of tiny lights, (the lights were outlining the cross). They were so small, they looked like a silver, faintly glowing, chain in the shape of the huge cross silently and slowly drifting across the black night sky.

It slowly went across the sky, hovered for a few seconds above our City Hospital, then got smaller and smaller till it was out of sight.

 It looked like a cross except there was no tiny top like a cross, it was more like a huge wide ( T ) shape.

 We were pointing and yelling up at it and trying to get people's attention, but no one paid any attention to us at all. It was hard to believe no one saw it but us!

It was as tall in the sky as 3 city busses end to end and as wide as half a city bus for it's base with the top as wide as a city bus horizontally.

Surely someone out there saw it, anyone?

Event Description:
At the corner leading to our residence, a lot of people were looking up the sky so we decided to stop and gaze up too.

  I saw aircraft light objects moving towards one direction.  The night was cloudy so some of them were wrapped by the clouds. 

The people who were watching said that the objects were first seen around 5pm and it was already before 8pm when we were there.  We tried to get a video of the objects but it was too far to be captured by a mobile phone camera.

We tried to change locations to get a better view of the objects but since it was a cloudy night, they might have been covered by the clouds.  No activity was observed about 30 minutes from the sighting I had.

I had a similar experience way back early 2000 when I was at home in Imus, Cavite. Hundreds of objects were moving in one direction. 

That time it did not occur to me that it can be UFOs because our place was the path of commercial aircrafts.

Event Description:
Clear night, stars out. no clouds.

My family and I were camping in Northern Ontario, and were sitting around the campfire when my mother pointed to the sky and said look, a UFO.

We looked up and we saw a triangular object, with red, and green lights rapidly moving back and forth through the opening of the trees. My mom became very excited, and we stood there watching it. All of a sudden it just disappeared.

 We went over the the Provincial Park Rangers Station, and a crowd had formed, the Ranger indicated that he had seen the object as well.

The next morning he placed some calls and later told us he was told it was a weather balloon. Something non of us believed.

It has been years, and I still remember this incident. My mother died in 2001, and over many years we talked about this incident. It happened.

Event Description:
Around 8pm My wife and I were travelling west toward Brady, TX from Eden, TX.

About 10 miles before Brady I had been staring at a very tiny blink in the sky. Meanwhile my wife is sleeping. I watched the blink because it would only blink about every 10 seconds.

All of the sudden the small light turned into a large burst of light in the sky. Enough to illuminate the ground and clouds around it. I thought a helicopter exploded in the sky but the light stayed on for approx 5 seconds then slowly faded back to the blink and very quickly moved across the sky.

I woke my wife and told her a helicopter exploded in the sky and showed her the blink.

About 1 minute later we noticed several blinks.

Then with my wife as a witness  the blinks turned to a huge bright light, faded and then moved to the other side of the sky in about 2-3 seconds.

My wife said holy sh*t what was that.

Then maybe a mile off right above the tree line 5 of the bright lights appeared in a perfect formation, lighting up the trees 200-300ft below.

We encountered this several more times before we got to Brady.

As we refuelled in town we noticed another travelling couple pointing in the sky so we asked if they saw the same thing as we did. They said yes and told us it may be the same thing people were seeing in Stevensville, TX.

 This was the first I had heard of any sightings in Texas.

I have NEVER been a believer of UFOs what so ever.

Incident details

I was leaving a drilling rig that night when all of a sudden I saw 2 lights turn on then a 3rd light like if it was an airplane landing then all the the lights started dimming out and turned off.

I freaked out cause there is no airport landing strips in this area and when I got to the main road I was concentrating on that same area when all of the sudden the 2 lights came back on and dimmed out.

I know choppers don't have 3 spotlights and this took place as high as a radio antenna. As I was driving toward the area three cars were coming towards my way and I just wanted to know if anybody else saw anything I saw cause when I drove about a mile and didn't see the lights but I saw sprinkles of red and blue lights real light in colour not like choppers or planes, especially that low in altitude, and when I went about 3 miles I saw a border patrol officer and stopped and asked if he saw anything and he said no and he said there were no border patrol choppers that night.

I don't know what I saw but it freaked me out big time.

Incident details
Some family had gotten together for a funeral to be held two days later. 

My uncle, brother, brothers girlfriend, friend T.J., and myself were on the back porch smoking. 

I looked up into the night sky, and saw a "V" shaped object.  It was about a half a mile away and I first noticed it coming out from behind a tree that was blocking my sight line. 

 I watched it for about 5 seconds before I said,  "what the hell is that!". 

The four people with me just looked up and watched the "V" shaped craft fly right over our heads. 

The craft made no sound at all, not even wind noise could be heard.  It had 6 or 7 white-yellowish lights.  Very sharp point to the "V", and very slim body, just like the letter V. 

About a week later we were in the same place, only three people were witness to that sighting. 

Two sightings in a week, the same object!?  What's really going on here?

Incident details
I'll never forget what I just saw tonight. I was driving with a good friend of mine and we were coming
off the highway 75 onto Roswell Road when we both noticed at the same time a formation of lights in
the sky ahead just above the tree line that just seemed to appear out of nowhere.

I was in mid sentence at the time and I just stopped and stared at it.  I said "what is that?" and at that
moment it went out of sight because we went farther down the road and it went out of sight behind the
trees.  My friend saw it too and we still cannot make sense of what it was. 

The lights made a formation like a giant teardrop in the sky.  the round part was facing my left and for
the 4 seconds or so that I saw it, I noticed the lights were pulsating, going in and out in brightness like
a star.    It was huge and seemed to be just hovering there above the trees.  there was a light on the
right end like a point that made it seem like a teardrop formation of lights.  My friend says she saw a
faint glimmer or shine inside near one of the stars, but I didn't see it.

We turned around to see if we could see it again but it was gone.  We went back on the same road to
look and there was nothing.  I have come that way many times before during the day and at night and
have never ever noticed a formation of lights or anything like that in that spot.  I feel like I would have
crashed my car had it not went out of sight because I couldn't take my eyes off of it.

I kept saying to myself that it was a billboard or something but there is absolutely no way.  we went
back and looked and there was NOTHING. there are no stars that shine that bright that close to the
horizon and in a oval teardrop shape.  For the rest of the night we were speechless, but also feeling
very lucky to have seen something so special.  This was only like 3 hours ago. I cannot stop seeing the
image of the lights above the trees.  I cannot make sense of this.

I am a firm believer in alien life out in the vast universe and potentially right here on earth, in our
oceans and skies,  both in the physical and non-physical realms of life.  I have seen strange things in
the sky before but nothing like this. I don't know what to think.  I am so glad that I wasn't alone
because I wouldn't be sure if there was something there or just my imagination or something.  We both
saw the same object, there was something there in the sky.

I was sitting outside in my backyard at about 11 to 11:30 by myself enjoying my last cigarette of the day before going to bed when a light caught my attention. 

It was directly above me heading from the south to the northeast at an EXTREMELY high rate of speed with two bright pink vapour trails in a pair. 

I could not determine the altitude and lost it instantly as I ran to relocate it. 

Instantly I could hear a very creepy sound on the horizon from where this thing disappeared.

It was almost like a cross between a person screaming, roman candles and something else unknown. 

I apologise for not remembering the exact date but I do remember that it happed toward the latter half of the summertime of 2007 and it is now 2008. 

P.S. shortly after I had seen this thing I had recalled the fact that there were no air planes in the sky 20 min. before to 15 or 20 min. after anywhere in the sky at any time of the day or night which is very unusual.

If anyone has an idea of what it could possibly be or may have seen that same thing on that night please tell me about it because I'm curious!!!

I was sitting in the car with my sister and we were finishing a conversation and I happened to look up in the sky and I saw a green glow in the sky, moving in fast, erratic motions -- very sharp and abrupt -- then it shot off, changing to a purple glow and disappeared, leaving a goldish trail behind it. 

I've never seen anything like it.  And I've never been speechless before.

Incident details

At approximately 10:45 P.M I walked outside my front door which faces an eastern direction.

Immediately my visual focus was drawn to a long object that did NOT look like and airplane OR Helicopter, but was closer to a cigar shape, very long and metallic looking and appeared to have a hazy, bright light around it.

My focus was also drawn to the front of the object which was beaming a very bright light, much brighter than I have ever seen from low flying aircraft.

Above the beam appeared to be a bubble shape on top of the object.

There also appeared to be smaller,  less luminous lights at about 10ft intervals the entire length of the object either along the side or on top of the object.

A number of green and red lights were flashing underneath the bright beam and underneath the full length of the object on the western side of the object, these lights pulsated and flashed intermittently.

It did not appear to be hovering, but setting down, as if dropping quickly.

It did not appear to be within an average altitude of aircraft normally seen flying in the area.

This appeared to happen quite rapidly (within seconds)

It did not show any signs of a gradual decline as you would see with a helicopter or airplane, but just began to drop down below the tree line.

Once the object dropped below my line of vision, I noticed that there was what appeared to be a small aircraft with a flashing red light following it from the Northeast and a smaller aircraft flying toward the northeast.

I went back inside for about 3 minutes and went back outside. I noticed that there were two more small aircraft flying in the area above where the object appeared to drop down below the tree line.

These aircraft appeared to be flying at a normal altitude.

It was the strangest thing I have ever seen.

Event Description:

We had left his farm and gone to the dump, which was about 10 miles away. As we were leaving the dump, I noticed a large electrical substation and high voltage power lines adjacent to the area.

We turned back onto the main road and began to head back. It was right around dusk.

This particular road is mostly rural, with large blocks of woods on either side. There were several houses and farms scattered along the road, but not a high population density by any means.

After driving about a mile down the road away from the dump, my friend suddenly said, "Whoa, did you see that!?" I looked up from the magazine I was reading and told him that I had seen nothing.

He then described that as he had been driving, about a half mile in front of us a cone-shaped beam of light appeared to drop out of the sky and into the woods off to the side of the road.

By this time it was pretty dark so he had seen it clearly. We shrugged it off and continued driving. Several minutes later my friend exclaimed again and said he had seen the light again, but this time further away down this long, straight road we were travelling on. I called him crazy and he swore to his honesty.

We reached the end of the road and turned right heading towards his farm. After several minutes we entered a large piece of woods that the road went through.

We were sitting in the car, joking about the light, when all of a sudden, without warning, the woods and car were suddenly illuminated by the brightest light I have ever seen.

It was a perfect circle of light that extended around the car for about 20 yards on either side and the car was in the exact center of the beam.

We could see the woods that were within the reach of the light, as clear as if it was daytime.

The light appeared, was there for about three seconds, and then disappeared, leaving my friend and I speechless.

The rest of the ride home was uneventful.  To this day I haven't been able to find any explanation except for a UFO. 

 I don't' believe that it could have been any human-piloted aircraft, because there was nothing that was visible in the sky, no landing lights or anything.

It just seemed to come from nowhere.

Event Description:
It was Australia Day. I was at a friends place cooking some food on the barbeque that was on the veranda about 9:50 PM, that night.

My friend saw two brilliant lights. One, travelling in a easterly direction and One, travelling in a northern direction. They were both seen moving from the same point, away from each other.

I had a look and saw that they weren't making any sounds, as I thought they were helicopters with search lights. They were very bright at first and then they both blinked getting brighter and then dimmer in brilliance of light. The colour of the light was bright white light. They would of been 1-2 kilometres above us.

I told my friend that I could see them and he was baffled to know what they were. He thought that they might have  been satellites, but I told him that satellites don't blink and they seemed closer to the ground than that of a satellite in space.

These two objects moving in their directions then got fainter and fainter until they could not be seen.

Five minutes later, I saw another UFO travelling north, it was very bright of white light. It was moving slowly making no sounds. It was brighter than a full moon. It would of been roughly 1 km above us. The UFO travelled slowly and disappeared over the horizon.

Now that we have found life on Mars for the first time, I wonder what other kind of life is out there.

It makes me think if UFO's are man made or alien made, or both. In movies like Star Trek, it has humans in space ships travelling and researching the Universe.

Just to think that perhaps other life in the universe beat us to those kind of inventions.

It is also great that Richard Branson is building and testing a spaceship that can take us into space and back again. I am excited that they are building such ships.

Who knows, like in another 200-300 years, space travel might be more frequent and UFO's maybe better explained and understood.

Event Description:
it was September 27,2007.

Me and my companions: Brunell, Jadie, Codie, Jay, William were having a few beers and all of sudden we noticed a flash of lights in the horizon.

We didn't think much of it so we kept drinking but we noticed that the lights started to get closer, way too close for comfort so we jumped in our trucks and just waited.

Five minutes later the lights were right over us.

Everything went dark and I woke up in an enclosed room

Everything was blurry and I heard noises all around me I couldn't make out what they were saying.

After that I woke up in my room hurting all over I don't know if they did anything to me.

Its been a couple of months now and everywhere I go I see a face of a creature I cant make out what this creature looks like because I'll see it and I turn around and its not there anymore.

Event Description:
On January 24th 2008 me and 2 of my friends were outside around 11 pm when we saw in the eastern sky 4 triangular craft with many strobe lights on them fly west at high speed.

They disappeared into the western sky before coming back about 2 minutes later from the east again.

They stopped for a few moments in the sky overhead, each emitting a bright beam of light almost too bright to look at.

 After a few moments the beam of light dimmed to reveal a haze around each one of the craft as they sped away east again and disappeared.

We stood outside for awhile after that to see if they would come back but they didn't.
 

Event Description:
I was laying in the bed of my truck waiting for my friends to get back home.

I had been staring at the planes landing and didn't notice the triangles until they moved. 

They stayed in a flying v form as they moved at a steady slow pace until they were out of sight. 

The 8 objects were triangle like but with a missing side like the caret symbol >.  They did not move until there were no planes within sight.

Event Description:
This object had multicoloured lights that seemed to pulsate around the exterior rim.

It was moving east to west just south of my property.

I am guessing over Lake Lewisville which is a couple of miles in that direction.

I was trying to photograph it and got some fuzzy photos because of the distance,

As I began to take photos it slowed down and stopped for a moment,

It then proceed to slowly travel west behind some trees at the property next door.

Event Description:
I was taking my daughter driving around 7:15 pm on Jan 24, 2008.

We were stopped at a stop sign, and I suddenly saw a bright light make an arc very fast into the southeast sky.

I thought it was a falling star, so I drove in the direction of where I thought it fell.

When I looked into the area of the sky, there were hovering lights making what I thought was a circle around where I saw the light go down.

I thought to myself that maybe I saw a plane go down, but I went home and called the news I was the second person that reported "lights falling from the sky", but I heard nothing about it

I was on vacation, and I went out side with my brother walking around the hotel grounds and all of a sudden I saw a huge disk shaped object with flashing lights very bright and low.

It made a lot of sounds.

I almost fell back because I was in such shock.

Event Description:
My strange experience with the shadow man I believe to be named "Dennis" all started a few years ago.

 I went on a church retreat in Gatlinburg, TN.

I met a girl who claimed to live in a house with a ghost who talked to her and was basically friends with her.

I was sceptical at first but she seemed to be a good person and I got her phone number and called to talk to her a few times after the retreat was over.

On the phone I would hear her speak to someone in the background, when I would ask who it was she would tell me it was the ghost in her house whose name was Dennis.

I would try to catch her in a lie and ask what he looked like and she described him as a teen with glasses.

 I was starting to think that she was plain crazy until I was telling her about something bad that had happened to me that day, I was kind of whining in a way about what a teacher said to me.

After quoting what the teacher said to me, a voice on the phone repeated me in a tone that was mocking me.

The voice was that of a male and it sounded as if two telephone signals had crossed and I was picking up a static sounding voice from another phone call, however the voice was talking to me/ mocking me.

The girls started laughing; I was extremely confused so I asked who it was that made fun of me. When she caught her breath she told me it was Dennis.
The last time I talked to the girl on the phone, she told me she was moving. I was very interested with what I had heard on the phone before, so I said (partially joking) "well, when you move tell Dennis he can come to my house and live with me". That was about three years ago.

About four months after I had "invited" Dennis to my house I was in my friends bedroom sleeping, because he had to mow his lawn and I had dozed off.

I woke up from my nap before he finished the lawn. When I woke up, the TV in his room was off and I could see myself in the reflection of the screen.

 Not only did I see myself, but a man with glasses sitting beside me on the bed.

I changed my attention to my right, (where he appeared to be in the reflection) but nothing and no one was there. I then looked back into the TV and the man with the glasses was still sitting next to me. I couldn't understand what I was seeing so I just stared at him for a few moments and then he seemed to float away and dissolve into the air.

The second and last time I saw him was when I woke up in the middle of the night.

I don’t remember much about it except I was in my own bed and he was actually standing over me. This time he was not a reflection but an actual figure of a 3 dimensional shadow. I looked up at his face and this was the same man with glasses. This time I was in shock and couldn't move and as I stared at him he floated away and dissolved into the air, just as he did before.
I am not completely sure the man I saw was Dennis, but if it wasn't it is very ironic that he appeared to me soon after I invited him to visit me.

He seems to watch me as I sleep because I only see him when I wake up unexpectedly.

I have never talked to him when he is in my presence but I wish to some day, because I can sense that he is still around me but just not visible.

I am a delivery driver for Pizza Hut and I was making a delivery to an apartment complex when I noticed three extremely bright white lights travelling from ssw to the north.

As I pulled in I looked up watching the object, as I got out of my car, it went by not making any sound.

No one else was outside.

walking to car at my moms house to get something out of the car. looked up in the sky to the southeast and spotted a light that didn't seem to belong. i got out the digital camera and took pictures of it as it changed shapes before disappearing.

I am a lorry driver from Liverpool and was on my way home from Leicester towards m1 motorway when a similar looking craft to a NASA space shuttle caught my eye about 200 feet above a road bridge ahead of me. it stayed horizontal and still for about 4 or 5 seconds then shot off at tremendous speeds and disappeared

around  dust  7:27pm  coming  into  Front  Royal  V.A.  a   silver  round  like  a  egg  was  seen  by  many  people  because   across  the  street  was  a  Biglots  store  and  many  cars  were  stopping  in  the  road   and  looking  up  so  my  father  myself  and  my  mother  saw  what  looked  to  be  a  silver  round  ufo  with  air force  jets  right  behind  the  ufo.  then  the  ufo  stopped  in  mid  air  for  about  48  secs  and  just  as  the  jets  got  close  the  ufo  shot  up  into  the  sky  and  it  was  gone.  this  makes  the  3rd  time  myself  and  my  parents   have  seen  what  is  called  a  ufo  the  first  time  was  in  Kentucky  back  in  the 1990s  The  2nd  time  we  were  going  to  Maine  and  the  last  time  in  Front  Royal  V.A.

I was driving home at about 6:00pm and it was still pretty light then I saw this thing in the sky at first I thought it was a plane because I just glanced at it then I saw it again only this time it was in front of the car and I got this felling that I cant explain and I looked much closer at it and in seemed to be spinning like a cement truck.

I was taking the Christmas lights from my house went I saw something that look like an airplane except that it wasn't moving I looked my eyes on it, and didn't seem to move at all. I when to go and get my camera but it was gone.

Event Description:
My friend and were driving North on US 101 during rush hour traffic while on
our way to play guitar at venue in Santa Rosa CA.
I was driving and I saw the object descending in a slow controlled manner.
The object looked like it was vertical cylinder and glowed bluish /green.
The bottom portion of the glow was pointed and the top looked pointed too.
It seemed to be about 1/2 mile ahead and about 1000 ft. up. We were going
uphill.
The first thought that came into my mind was to ask my friend if he also could
see this object. He said yes. I said what is that? He said he did not know.
The object seem to keep descending and seem to disappear behind a hill.
I asked my friend to describe what he saw and his description was almost
exactly what I had seen. The freeway was wall to wall traffic and I assumed that
other drivers also saw the object.
later that night or the next day similar sightings were reported on the radio
from Oakland Ca. which was to the south east of our location.

Event Description:
Reporting for a fellow private pilot who was receiving flight training at the time in a single engine Cessna. They were attempting to land at Deck airport near dusk but having trouble getting the radio controlled landing lights to come on so they elected to go to Reigle airport, in Annville instead, a 5 minute flight west.  Upon turning west they saw a rectangular craft with flashing lights about 3 miles out, which nearly instantaneously sped up and joined them alongside their Cessna's wingtip, so close they thought they would surely collide. They jumped and screamed, and for a couple seconds the craft was alongside their plane, looked like a ruler as seen from its long edge at a slight angle, with flashing lights, and some wingtip ends that were like winglets but different than what we typically see on planes.  It was  LARGER THAN a 747 and RIGHT THERE.  It then took off extremely fast, instantaneously accelerating away, making no noise the whole time, maneuvering like nothing from this earth.  They landed without incident and saw nothing more. In their flight debrief, they each, instructor and student, separately sketched what they had seen, and the craft shapes matched each other.  Between the 3 of us pilots, with lots of aircraft experience, nothing like it is known to be made by man, per their description, or operates in that fashion. Unless of course our military has some recovered alien craft they are joy riding in.  There are many optical illusions reported as alien craft, but this one left very little to the imagination, they are still pretty shaken up over it.  Watch the sky!  I am making this report so they can remain anonymous but I can supply additional info from them if available. I will have a sketch shortly.

Event Description:
My husband and I were going to his parents house about 2 miles from Bishop Road
We saw this enormous object in the air and it was hovering above the trees, above an older subdivision.  Both of us are very logical and immediately dismissed it as aircraft.. But it did not move and or make a sound.  When I say enormous, I mean ENORMOUS.....We both became very frightened when it didn't move or make a sound.. White lights were around it.  Not all around, but like spotlights almost WE raced in the car to his mothers house and that "thing" followed us..  The air was so still it was so eerie.
It hovered over his parents house and we were frantically banging on the door under the carport.  My husband stuck his head out and it zoomed off in less than a second.  We both didn't talk about it much and never to anyone else until this year.  I still can't believe it and I'm sure people would think we were crazy, but I promise this is true... What was it ??????

Event Description:
Since reading this sight and the recent sightings on the news, it got me to thinking I have never believed the alien theory nor catered to the fact but I am open minded as of today
This past summer my fifteen year old son and his friend were talking about strange lights in the sky my son being level headed and mature for his age raised my interest since he has never been so exited about lights in the sky, I went out myself on a different night to look in the general area that they had described,
after looking for ten minutes not seeing anything out of the ordinary I was heading back into the house hoping not to be seen coming in with my binoculars I caught a strange glow and trickle out of the sky in the area i had been looking,
instantly raised my binoculars and proceeded back to looking , what I saw had me very interested it had looked as if there were three round silver lights in a triangle formation they would fade dim then very bright, I watched for about thirty more minutes when my wife caught me on the balcony I explained what I was doing and asked her to look now to know my wife is her being very close minded to anything like this but the event even puzzled her, she went and got my son out of bed to see if he could identify the lights and all he could say was I told you guys so , As time got later i stayed out and they went to bed time was about twelve midnight my dogs and I by this time were sitting down watching when out of no were the top light broke from the formation moved northwest at a speed which seemed faster than any thing I have ever seen stop fade out and within seconds formed another triangle.
I do not know what I was looking at but have not hade time or the ambition to keep looking for the same lights but since the recent sittings and the blogs here in Texas I will start trying to spot them again and maybe even try to record some footage
I still do not believe in aliens but do believe our government hides technology that is far advanced from the public to for reasons we probably do not need to know but who knows    I COULD BE WRONG

Event Description:
I was about 11 years old, my sister was nine and we were at the beach with our dad. It was dusk. No  one was round. Reason I only mention it now is because people have closed ears. It was in Puget sound, a large body of salt water. When we left and drove up a hill all surrounded by trees it followed my dad over the car and we watched it and maybe about ten minutes. Then it was gone. It did hover over the car and followed the car. At the beach there was to my knowledge no one else around . We were laying back in the sand and it appeared. So beautiful. Hovered for a while. Did have like a hum noise. Then disappeared. As my dad ran to his car and drove off there it was over us. Ever since then and I am now 70 I have felt special is the only word. Special in the event that we did see it. I always expect to have it reappear. I now live in town only about 2 miles from where it happened. I have talked to two others who have had similar events at other locations. When I married at  19 my husband would attend some meetings put on by the air force and they did not deny this craft. never did deny. I always expect to be contacted by them.

My son and I were searching for some of our cattle that hadn't yet been gathered home from the summer range.  We drove the pickup on a small hill in the area for a vantage point and began glassing with binoculars for the missing cattle.  It must have been close to midday, bright and sunny, with just a few wispy clouds.  I noticed a very shiny object, shaped like a thick disc, hovering in the sky.  I pointed it out to my son and I looked at it through the binoculars trying to figure out what it was.  There was no sound, no smoke, and it didn't move for a few  minutes.  We then watched in amazement as it moved upward and away at a great rate of speed.  It stopped immediately and hovered for just a few seconds then sped away, very fast, again, only to disappear in the distance.

Event Description:
I was traveling north on rt.17 n when I saw a very large disk above the tree line to my left, this was in the town of SALUDA, one mile North of Pitts lumber yard. the disk looked to be 250-300feet across. I stopped my car in order to take a picture on my phones camera, but before I could get the camera set, the craft changed from a pinkish red color, to a bright white color omitted a fog like haze around it then became transparent. Around five minutes afterward I returned home and told a family member what I had seen. I was told by the family member that five minutes ago the power had went out and came back on approx. two minutes later. On 01/21/2008 I spoke to a friend in REMLIK VA which is a few miles North of my location, and was informed that at the same night and time his power went out, and stayed out for around three and a half hours. I work where helicopters land, and have seen them land in the day and night, however this was not a helicopter, it made no sound of any kind.

I was looking into all the recent North Texas sightings when I stumbled on this post. I have lived in La Porte for about 8 months now on Fairmont as a previous poster stated and within a mile of the water.
On three occasions I have seen a dark spot in the sky, as if something were passing overhead and preventing me from seeing the actual 'sky' above them. It was a very dark impression, sort of like seeing a 'shadow cast in a shadow'. Twice it appeared and moved in a triangular shape, once it seemed rectangular (maybe it was sideways???).
On two occasions I observed it alone and on one (triangular sighting) I pointed it out to a neighbor and they said all they could see were 'stars'. That is when I noticed within the outline of the dark 'triangle' I was seeing that indeed it did appear there were 'stars' but they were flickering in a way that natural stars don't. It was just too obvious that they were not really stars, some other light source.
Pretty sure this is the well documented but supposedly secret 'Stealth Blimp' or LTA transport that is out there with Lockheed (as are probably the North Texas events) but just wanted to verify that the 'flying triangle' type events have been witnessed on the Texas Gulf Coast by others.
Oh and it was drifting or 'hovering' if you will. Moving at a slow rate of speed towards the (now that I think about it the old Ellington AFB). Never have heard any noise from it but all three times I have seen it it was because I decided to go smoke outside because I was having trouble with my internet connection or other electronic devices (live alone...like to smoke when and where I want is part of that reason). Strange that these events all had a same basic reason to be 'outside'.

Event Description:
It would be our first night in our new home.  Tired from moving furniture and boxes all day, we went to bed around 1am.  A last trip to the restroom would be what made me glimpse by my window outside, and there I saw an object I knew was not a plane.  I stood there for about 5 mins and then went to wake my son.  I asked him to come by my window, look in the sky, and tell me what he sees.  My son's mouth dropped as he stood in amazement. We then decided to wake my husband for his thoughts.  He too, then stood in amazement.  We were seeing a circular object hovering over the night sky with an assortment of colors fading in and out.   We watched this unknown object for about 20mins with it's random display of colorful lights before we each would finally go to bed.  I have always believed in the "unknown" and this reconfirms my thoughts.

Event Description:
I was walking from Albemarle Road on East 2nd Street down towards Church Ave, it was almost 6:30 in the evening and the constellation Orion and the bright star Sirius was visible in the eastern sky, the moon was full and bright. I was looking at the moon when I noticed two very large ships flying in unison, mirroring each move, they were totally silent and bobbed softly as they appeared to move so slowly to be 'hovering' eastward. Suddenly, they started to dip below my vision, seeming to go lower but then went back up in what seemed like a bob back up and then, as I rubbed my eyes to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing, I looked back up and watched as they disappeared right into thin air. I had a weird feeling and wanted to tell the first person I saw what I'd just seen but decided against it. The ships looked like a cross shape, longer in the back, they looked like boomerangs with short tails. The wings were sort of batman-like, with up edges and sharp points along the lines of the wings. The ships looked to be in an unusual angle. They were silent but they were larger than a big airplane, they appeared dark, almost transparent as they disappeared from view.

Event Description:
I am writing this because my experience sounds a bit like that of JMR in Staten Island, NY.  I was standing in front of my house one night during the summer (the 1980's,sorry, don't remember the year but probably 1983 or 1984).  I was looking up at the stars, when I saw what I thought was a satellite, as it looked like a star moving in a straight line across the sky.  As I watched it, it suddenly made a turn and looked like it traveled to a nearby star, where it stopped moving for about 15 minutes (I'm guessing on how long it stayed still - it's been many years since it happened!).  I watched this "star" for about 2 hours, during which time it would travel along, stop at a "star," for anywhere from a few minutes to almost 1/2 hour. Then it would start moving again in another direction.  It made 45 and 90 degree turns.  I pointed the star out to everyone in my family, but they were not as impressed with it as I was.  Anyway, after a couple of hours of traveling from star to star, it changed direction once again and traveled in the sky behind my house - I watched it until I finally lost sight of it.

Event Description:
I was driving home from my girlfriend's apartment in Dallas. I had lingered too late at her place and had to drive from Dallas to San Antonio (about 5 hours) that night so I could be at my teaching job the next morning. I do not remember the exact date but I know it was May of 1992 and probably a Sunday since I was coming back home to San Antonio after a weekend with my long distance girlfriend in Dallas. Anyway, I was traveling south on IH-35 south of Dallas. I'm pretty sure that I was a bit north of Hillsboro, Texas. I came over a small rise in the interstate to notice a large collection of colored lights flashing and rotating around in all directions. The lights all were fixed to a football shaped object (I couldn't see the football shape itself but I could deduce its shape because of the fixation points of all of the lights in aggregate). These lights were very bright and were shining beams of red, green, yellow and I think blue in all directions. It was as if the lights were each individually fixed to the craft by a ball and socket type joint that allowed them to move up and down, left and right, diagonally and in circular motions. Kind of like colored spot lights that you might see at a rock concert. I only saw the lights for about 20 seconds because I watched them as I approached them and finally drove right underneath them. They were hovering over the Interstate at about the same height as those green and white signs that go over the freeway and tell where exits and towns are. So I would say the lights were only about 20-30 feet above the pavement. The outline of the lights/craft was about the same width as the 2 lane interstate (not including the shoulders). As I drove under it there was no sound at all and I immediately looked in my rearview mirror and saw that the other cars behind me were visibly distracted (their headlights were weaving all over the road at 70 miles per hour). I could see the lights in my rearview mirror until I went over the next little hill. It was so late and I was so tired and
had so far to go yet, I just kept driving. This is one of the biggest regrets I have. I could have easily pulled over and gotten out to take a better look. I was 23 years old at the time and I told my family about it in San Antonio when I got home. Everyone seemed to think it was just a helicopter or something. I can tell you I have never, ever seen anything like this before or since. I don't know what it was but I know what it wasn't. It was not a helicopter, airplane, Texas Department of Transportation equipment or anything "normal". It was almost as if it were one of those big black balls with multi-colored lights that spins and shines alternating beams of light in all directions like you would see at a roller rink or dance club or something. The only difference was its shape (football shaped) and its size (two interstate lanes wide). I read about a girl who saw this exact same thing in Fort Worth in May of 1992. It might have been the same craft a few minutes or hours earlier or later. Looked like a bright light in the east sky's of Pasadena, Texas it just hovered in the sky with one real bright light, I'm just curious to what the object might be, I don't believe it was alien from an other planet.

I was driving home from work about 630 am it is dark out still at this time. I was driving on the freeway and there a lot of trees around I looked at my rear view mirror and I had to look again cause I saw a strange shape, It looked like the shape of a large butterfly except it was all white with a long tail. it went back into the trees fast so I could not see if it had a face or anything. its always been on my mind and been curious to see if anyone has seen anything that looks like what i describe.

I was looking up in the sky and noticed a red star like light in the sky.  At first i thought it might be mars
or some other planet.  It was red and staying in fixed in one spot.  I went to get My girlfriend to show her
and when I went back out to look at it, it had moved closer to the moon.  It wasn't moving when I saw it
again, but had gotten closer to the moon.  So I went back in side to get My binoculars and when I came
back out it was moving.  When I looked through them I could see that the one light was 3 or more tightly
grouped lights.  then it started to fade and I realized that it was going up.  I watched it until it disappeared.  I know it wasn't a plane.  Is there anyone else that saw this?

Event Description:
I was in very slow rush hour traffic going west on I-10 in El Paso, TX, I saw a very bright round ball in the sky and it appeared to go straight down a few miles in front of me (Redd Road Exit, on I-10) - it went down very fast, was huge, and too close and big to be a star.  I have no idea what it was.  I wonder if anyone else saw it - since the traffic was very heavy that evening (about 6 PM).

I feel ridiculous reporting this, but I do not know what else this "light" could have been!  I was driving home from work and the skies were gray/overcast with snow expected that night. I turned off Scotts Creek Rd. onto Miller Farm Rd. and noticed a very, very BRIGHT light in the sky with a dimmer light just beneath it.  I thought to myself, "Why isn't that light moving?"  It just stayed in the same place.  I proceeded down Miller Farm Rd. and still, it did not move.  I decided to turn off onto Doe Trail Ln. and watch it.  Well, the one light was so bright that I cannot do it enough justice to describe it.  Still, this light did NOT move, only remained stationary!  I decided to proceed on Doe Trail and turned off onto Caribou and the lights were GONE.  There was no sun that day and it was much too bright for sun at 5:15pm anyway.  Plus, the sun would have been farther to the west at that time of day.  Where did these lights go?  I have never seen anything like it and feel silly thinking it was a UFO, but what else with such a bright light and a dimmer one just beneath it, would remain stationary for so long?

Event Description:
While driving to Menlo Park Mall on Rt. 1, it was a very cold and clear night a week or so before Christmas after dinner time.  I was enamored at how clear the sky was and the stars were showing abundant and bright.  The highway was "packed" with traffic.  Suddenly out of no where 3 triangular shaped aircraft appeared hovering, in formation of a "V".  They had lights of yellow and red around the center area and moved in unison up, then down, then sideways, still in unison, at a very rapid speed.  I was so astounded at seeing this i was more astounding at wondering if all the traffic was seeing what I was.  The objects suddenly zoomed south still in unison and disappeared in a second.

Event Description:
sat on my friend's car bonnet talking to him i was looking up almost straight up above us an I notice three star's close to each other when one start's to move but it didn't move far it just looked like a couple of inches but slowly and very clearly.
I tried to tell my friend but he didn't believe me but my friend then listened to me an tried to get a fix on where I was looking so incase it done the same again he could see for himself. it then started to move back towards where it was first but he couldn't find in time where it was before it stopped. this happened for a third time and the same again happened.
I very shortly after then said to him I wanted to go home as it was around four o clock in the morning.
we were then traveling home in his car and half way home a beam of light comes down from the sky traveling along side the car but the light was not on the road but on the field's along side the road.
i was telling him that I had told him that I had seen something and that he should stop the car so we can see what it was. sadly he was to scared and said he would no way stop even after me threatening him saying I would pull the handbrake up to try to stop the car. but he didn't care an was just making it clear that he wouldn't because he was to scared etc..
we were probably traveling at sixty miles an hour along a fairly straight road and eventually the light disappeared and we continued an was then nearly home..
I was disappointed.
I should note i have seen other thing's as well before and after and usually have feeling's about certain thing's.

I live in a part of Wales and there is enough country side to enjoy.
anyway there was six of us and we saw a grey thing quite close to us but it was a kinder misty grey and we didn't know what to think. we shouted at it to explain what it was and stuff, I will not explain for now. but it looked like it had a big head and was looking down as it was walking down the grassy hill.
eventually it stopped and seemed to raise it's head an look at us then turning around taking a few steps an then disappearing..

Event Description:
I was fixing to turn down the road to my house when I looked up to the east because something caught my eye, it looked like a cylinder on fire (cylinder shape), straight on both sides, colors-orange and red, appeared to have flames going straight up no smoke no tail traveling straight down then moved southeast very slowly then disappeared. Looked like a can on fire but like I said no smoke or tail. Never experienced anything like this before. It was semi cloudy, no rain, just a beautiful day.

Event Description:
This happened more than ten years ago, but some of the postings here were identical to what we saw.  My sister and I were waiting for a friend to pull up to our house and were waiting near the neighborhood street.  It was dark and we saw a airplane's blinking lights in the eastern sky.  Then my sister commented on what she saw, a large singular unblinking light passing the airplane in the sky.  It was moving a few times faster than the plane.  It zipped across the sky, but suddenly stopped at the western point of the sky. It did not make any noise and my sister and I waited to see what it would do.  It seemed to drop something onto an empty field to the west of our neighborhood.  I remember it had a different color than the main object.  I remember it red, but my sister now says it was green.  The dropped object fell slowly to the ground, we could not later find where it had landed.  Then the main object flared much brighter without moving.  Then it vanished without a trace.  No one in my family believed us until the next day when the local news report on t.v.  claimed some families had seen an unusual object in bright daylight as they watched some military jets go by.  No one knew why there were military jets in the sky and the object was recorded on camera as it zipped past the military jets.  My sister and I would go out to look for the light all summer, as it returned several times.  We did notice that during the times it would appear there was some sort of hurricane forming in the Gulf of Mexico near our coastline.  My entire family saw it a week later as we had a barbecue in our yard.

Event Description:
Driving on Fairfax Road by the old Sanders School when myself and a friend saw a very large triangular shaped object hovering right above the road.  There were trees on each side of the road and no other traffic at the time.  At first I thought it was a helicopter however; There was no noise coming from this UFO. We slowed down and looked a bit but continued on.  I lived near by and stood outside watching to see if I saw it again and I did not.

Event Description:
In late May of 1995 me and my sister were walking home from the school bus in my hometown of Shalimar, Florida near Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  I remember the month and year because I was due to graduate high school in only a few days.  It was a mostly sunny day but there was a large thunderstorm coming in in the distance.  I looked up in the sky and saw an object that caught my attention right away.  It was silver, appearing to me to be teardrop shaped.  It stuck out very clearly against the dark storm clouds in the distance.  When I first noticed it, it was traveling in a perfectly straight line so I didn't immediately get my sister's attention to show it to her.  I figured it was an airplane even though it did appear to me to be moving quite fast.  I remember thinking that it moved almost like debris does in a tornado.  I didn't realize what I was seeing until the object froze in mid air!  It literally was traveling along and then just STOPPED!  After it stopped, it turned a quick loop and stopped again.  I grabbed my sister's arm to get her attention.  I was yelling at her to look but unfortunately she never saw it.  It was about that time that it started moving again but very erratically.  It "danced" very quickly through the air seemingly at random for maybe two seconds and then it stretched out like a rubber band and shot straight up into the sky and vanished at an INCREDIBLE rate of speed.  If I had to guess the object's size, I'd say it appeared to be about the same size as a full-sized truck or van.
One of the most important things to point out about this story is that this UFO (I guess you could call it) was in the exact direction of the main gate of the largest air force base in the entire world:  Eglin AFB.  Eglin's main gate is barely a mile up the road from the town of Shalimar.
When I got home a few minutes later, I called nearly everyone I could think of!  I called my grandparents, my mom at work, my dad at work, every friend I had.  I couldn't believe that I had actually seen this.  This experience occupied my thoughts for quite a while afterwards.

Event Description:
My wife and I were driving North on State Route 7 between Morton and Elbe Washington, on a Sunday night. The time was 2315 hours. We were traveling about 45 miles per hour when a bright light passed us just over tree top level and continued on out of sight to the North. The color was white with red. It was traveling at a high rate of speed and disappeared into the trees. At first we thought it might be a plane crash but the speed was much faster than any private plane and there was no crash noise or explosion. The light was only observed for a few seconds. Later we checked for any reports of plane crashes or other reported activity and found none. The weather was cold, about 27 degrees. There was some snow on the ground at the time. Neither witness had been drinking or using any type drugs.

Event Description:
Having read a number of the reports, those in san Antonio struck a familiar note. In late 66 or early 67 while in the US Army and stationed at Fort Sam Houston, my wife and I were living in a fourplex just outside the main gate. My wife yelled at me from the back door to come out here quickly. Outside we were witness to an object about the size of a dime held at arms length moving approx. North to South over the top of Sam Houston very slowly. We could not see the body of the craft but multi colored lights pulsating around the perimeter stood out like a sore thumb, like the sweep hand on a stop watch. After perhaps a minute or two the object turned in a Easterly direction and came to a stop or hover where it remained for about 20 to 30 seconds before turning a brilliant Red and then disappearing. No movement,...just gone. Moments later the sky was busy with military aircraft. The next day Civilian and Military sources claimed it was a light plane towing a banner. As a pilot myself, knowing Ft. Sam Houston is surrounded by four Air Bases, that air space is controlled and then controlled again, it's an insult to my intelligence to say that a pilot in a light plane towing a Banner can outsmart and out fly our Nations best, Nor would the military scramble so many fighters on a target of this nature.

Event Description:
This took place in a small, southern town about 45 miles north of the Mexican border in the summer of 2003.  I was walking home from a corner store about 11pm, it was a very still and silent night.  Very dark, no one around, no cars, no one.  I began to feel a bit frightened right around that moment I got the urge to look up in the sky and there it was...a blue, glowing, ball.  I stopped dead in my tracks for about 30 secs then I ran home as fast as a possibly could.  I do regret not staying a bit longer to see where it went but I was a scared teenager.  Now do keep in mind this is the country, the skies are big, so this object stood out.  It was just floating, beaming, and bold.  It wasn't very high in the sky, pretty low actually.  Not big at all either, but to this day I can't come up with a logical explanation as to what this was.  It was like nothing I've ever seen before.

It was my junior year and summer just started. My best friend was in town and we decided to go up to my grandparents house in Warenton, VA. Every night we sat in the back of my grandpa's truck and watched for shooting stars. On the third something caught his eye. I assumed it was a satellite because we were up on a hill and it was a clear night. A triangle of three yellowish lights hovered above us. Then all of a sudden it moved. Once again it stopped and hovered. Then it glided another direction. The object did this several times before it headed away from us and disappeared. The next morning we told my grandparents and they laughed at us not believing a word. We know what we saw and we still talk about it to this day.

Event Description:
It was Christmas eve 2007. I was smoking a brisket for Christmas dinner the next day. Well I have been smoking and cooking on the grill most of the day, and helping wife get thing's ready for the next day. Well we finally got the children to sleep and wife and I sat in the living room for a bit before heading to bed. Well I told her I was going outside to make sure the coals and the temp. on the grill would finish the brisket up by morning.
I walked out into my back yard and to check thing's out. Well when I closed the lid to my hot box on the grill there was a big bright light that lit up the sky. This was not just a little bit of light , this lit the whole sky up. I am a storm spotter in my community, and this was not lightning. I finished up and went in the house and said to my wife" There was a tremendous light outside just now and it lit the whole area up". She just looked at me and said" ok." Well, I had a friend of mine email me an MSNBC news video and clip about UFO sightings in Texas. The towns they mentioned which a couple are close to me , BRECKENRIDGE,TX, my hometown( 220 miles south of me) and Throckmorton, tx(17 miles north of me). The news clipping said what they seen were heading off to these areas. I am not saying this has anything to do with what i saw......But it sure raises some eye brow's with me!

Last night we watched Fox News feature on the  UFO sighting in Texas. Back on December 19th in Sudbury MA at around 11:45 PM my daughter Daniella Gormley witnessed 4 UFOS which she described at the time as identical to what the people in Texas now say they saw. They came one after another between 11:45 and 12:15. She is the only person who had seen them and unfortunately did not get me out of bed but after each one  she didn't think there would be another. What she described sounded exactly like what was witnessed in Texas - no sound - bright yellow lights. - Tonight I showed her your clip and she immediately jumped up and said - that is exactly what I saw that night. We tried to report it that night on a web site like this but the info was erased when I tried to submit it so I gave up. But since the Texas sighting it made sense to make public that she witnessed the same thing in Sudbury MA.
