The first when I was very young, four years old, in Illinois. With the baby-sitter, in her car, late at night, other kids were there also. Everyone asleep except me and the sitter driving down a gravel road. When what I as a child thought I saw the Moon coming down, and that is what I said.'The Moon is coming down.' Sitter said that it wasn't the Moon, in a voice I will never forget. As the years had passed, that is when I realized missing Time, Sleep Paralysis and many other Sightings, I would say ten I remember well. Others kind of vague, dreamlike. There were three that standout besides formentioned. Key West, 25 of us meet in front of old church, not to pray but to party. You know how kids are. Midsummer, 5:30 PM. We all saw it about same time. An orange/white ball of light about same size as large beach ball, approximately 50 to 60 feet off the ground. It came straight toward our direction for a couple hundred feet. Made a 90 degree turn, and disappeared 5 minutes later. Three more appeared from the same direction, but much higher and very fast and at the same time, several jets from Boca Chica, N.A.S. scrambled. We were only 2 miles from base and could see the jets give chase. They, the jets I mean did not as far as we could see them, did not catch up and the objects did not break their Triangle Formation. We watched them travel towards the Atlantic, for as long as we could see. We assumed the Navy might come around or local Police to see if anyone might of seen anything. So, we did not have our little party, until they showed, because we all know what we saw and didn't not want them to think us impaired and would be giving stoned out story or description. We waited and waited, even thought some were complaining, we still waited for at least 3 hours. And it happened between 8:30 and 9:00 PM. Three more lights went over us back towards the Gulf, moving faster and just as silent as they did before. And again, four F 14's flew over the top of us, in pursuit. That was it. We never heard or seen anything from the Base about it, even when some of us asked. The next to stand out was when I was with my Father on one of his long road company trips. We were in Upstate New York, in the Catskills. It was late, about 10:00 PM. My Father had this horrible truck made. An international cab overfitted to a straight job box. It was, as I said, a horrible truck. Remarkable, uncomfortable, he had it made to deliver the stock his small his small company made. Anyway, he and I were looking for a room for the night. There wasn't much in that way out there. This area had a lot of weird road signs that were not on the map. My father and I were just about to pull over and sleep in the truck's oversized sleeper, since there were no rooms to be found. That's when my Father saw it first. 'Look at that would ya!' As I looked up from the map, there it was. A bunch of lights in diamond shaped balls of white light. At the points of the diamond shape, 'purpilish' bars of light in-between the points of light, to make the diamond shape. That's all we could see at first. Can't really tell you distance. There was nothing out there to gauge it by. All I know is, that it wasn't too far away. As we went up a slight curving upgrade with trees, on both sides, we had lost sight of the object. Until we reached about the middle of the upgrade, there was a huge clearing in the trees, on mine passenger side of the truck. There the object was, nor more than 30 to 40 feet from my side of the truck. The lights were still there, but you could plainly see a , I don't know how else to describe as a fuselage of a shape. That I am really unable to articulate, expect that it was not a plane or a copter. It was about 10 feet off the ground. As I looked over at my Father, I could see from the amazingly bright light, that he was truly stunned and quite terrified. Seeing him afraid, my fascination turned to numbing rear. I literally felt like the base of my skull had turned to ice. At that moment, I felt and heard the truck speed up. I quickly looked over to see my Father without taking his eyes off this stunningly beautiful object. Shifting gears, as I looked back towards the craft, it took off in a horizontal path, as fast as a blink of an eye. You could see, for a brief moment, a light trail, in the direction it traveled. Needless to say, we drove until we found a room, about 4 hours later. The reason why I know we saw something special, is because my Father is the kind of man who has always falling asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow. The other reason is, he is a person who does not believe in ghosts, God and most of all, UFO's. To this day, he gets visibly upset when I try to talk to him about what we had seen. The third one, well I think I will keep that one to myself. The longest amount of missing time I have ever had and I'm not sure if I'm ready to talk about my missing time just yet. But, this much I say about the third reason is, it happened Spring of 1990. On Sugarloaf Key, this thing was huge! It was around 8:45 PM and we were walking on 146th street and Lenox Avenue. Suddenly, both of eyes were drawn to an enormous object slowly moving overhead. It had four rectangular iridescent blue lights and there was no sound whatsoever. I looked around to see if anyone else was witnessing this event and there was a lone man also looking up at this object. I asked my daughter if she saw what I was seeing and she responded that she saw it as well. I asked her what it was and she stated that she did not know. As we continued to walk, a building obscured our view of the object. In the three seconds that it took to walk past the building, the object disappeared. Where could something so huge go so fast? I have often wondered if anyone ever reported seeing a strange object in the sky on this night Top of page |
