Event Description:
Hello, my name is C******** and I live in Phoenix, AZ.
Me and my mom were on our way home from a party when I noticed something bright in the sky.
At first it seemed to be a star but as I stared it multiplied and became 2.
As they flew closer one faded to black but the other one was still coming down.
Once it got about 600 feet over us this SUPER bright blue light began shining so I am unsure of the exact shape.
About 10 seconds later it went behind a cloud and the three orange lights began to shine very brightly.
Then it came out of the clouds, hovered for about four minutes and then a military jet came after it, but once the jet got near enough
it shot straight up, faster than anything I’ve ever seen.
The jet circled a few times and left.
If anyone has any info what this is please let me know.

Event Description:
I was driving north on a long straight stretch of hwy 93 just north
of Kingman, AZ I could see the headlights of two 18 wheelers headed
towards me appx 2 miles away.
It was dark in the cab of my truck, except for the dim glow of my
instrument panel. The inside of my cab slowly began to glow a bright
neon blue. As I looked around for the source of the light, a huge
form of blue energy which appearently had approached me from behind,
raced pasted me at a magnificent rate of speed.
This energy went low and straight for several miles before darting
up into the clouds. As the energy disappeared into the clouds, the
whole sky became luminous of neon blue. The outline of every cloud
could be seen for miles.
This energy was silent and had no distinctive shape. After the
event, one of the truck drivers that was headed towards me came over
the CB radio and ask "What in the world was that?" No one said a
word.
Until this moment, I have only shared this experience with my
immediate family.

Event Description:
Our place over looks the city lights to the South west. I was
standing on the patio at about 8:00 PM, on October 21, 2003, and
noticed 3 bright lights in a straight line.
They caught my attention because they looked so out of place and did
not move for several minutes. Then to the east of them another light
appeared, followed by another. This went on for several minutes.
Here is the pattern they appeared in---

During the time they were there, I took some pictures and when I
went to get the video camera they had left.
But then in the western sky two showed up and I was able to get them
on tape. It was a remarkable thing t see and I have 3 other people

It
was the week of the World Trade Center disaster.
We were standing out in the backyard looking at the night sky.
We
were commenting about the clear sky because of the no-fly rule in
effect. We were looking toward the Northwest when all of a
sudden two lights moving in tandem zoomed around the Valley in a
circle.
It seemed as though the lights were connected, but we couldn't see
any craft, just the two lights zooming around the sky. I kept
looking for a craft attached to the two lights, but I could see
stars between the lights.
It made two huge circles around the sky then tore off to the West
at a tremendous speed. If I hold my hand out at arms length,
holding my fingers apart, it would be as if I had a light on the
end of my thumb and my pinkie finger.
My husband saw it too. I ran around gathering up the dogs
after seeing it make one complete circle, my husband saw it circle
a second time. I looked up in time to see it zoom off to the
West.
There were no noises, vapor trails, or unusual feelings except
shock and surprise.
This is the second sighting that we have both had in the last
three years.
The first was also in Mesa, but it looked like the
Lubbock lights. The first sighting was in July 2000.

Hello,
My partner and I normally sit out on our patio here in Phoenix,
Arizona at night, enjoying the desert night sky. We
see many planes flying overhead at various heights all with
flashing lights.
But, we have also noticed on several evenings including tonight,
strange steady lights that never flash, moving in the sky at
various speeds and heights. Often these strange lights fade slowly
out to black and the objects making them disappear.
I've contacted the Science Editor of the Arizona Republic newspaper
and he
refereed my questions to the Head of the Astronomy Department, at
Arizona State University, since he himself hadn't a clue what
these strange lights could be. As yet I've had no answer from the
Astronomy Department of ASU.
The strangest of all the lights so far was one we noticed at the
beginning of June.
I was pointing out the big dipper constellation to my partner,
when I noticed an additional "star" slightly to the left
of the last star in the tail of the Big Dipper.
Puzzled, I watched, surprised, as it began to move toward the West
at a rapid rate of speed. There was no acceleration
apparent, and as it passed the bright star the tale of the Big
Dipper points to, it suddenly began to fade until it was black as
the night sky and had disappeared.
Since that sighting, we have averaged two and sometimes three
sightings a night of these strange lights.
Our question is; has anyone else reported these lights, or have
there been acceptable explanations as to their origins?
I've thought we might be seeing satellites or even space junk, but
the fading to black has us puzzled. Sometimes, they move for long
distances before fading and other
times, they appear and fade within seconds.
For example, tonight, we observed two lights side by side, that
appeared under the moon's position and traveled east from there
for approximately 5 seconds before fading to black one after the
other.
Later, a light appeared in the East traveling much faster than any
plane I've ever seen and as it crossed the face of the moon, it
faded and was gone when it should have reappeared beyond the
bright face of the moon.
If you have heard anything about these lights, I would appreciate
any news you can give me about them. They have us puzzled.

Information, dated July 8, 2003:
We've
seen several more since I sent the e-mail to you. The
majority of the lights are moving West to East or East to West,
but occasionally, they travel at angles to those directions, but
we've never seen one traveling North to South or vis-a-versa.
We thought, for a while, we were seeing very high flying military
jets, but then the lack of flashing warning strobes when viewed
through binoculars was a puzzle.
But, then the total fading out of the light sort of indicates they
are not normal planes of any kind, since, in US Air Space, the FAA
requires aircraft of any type are required to have lights after
dark.

I worked with a team of 12 in which one was a Manager who communicated with tower control to make sure the airplanes were landing at their destined time. On March 13, 1997, our Manager had advised us of some interference
with the frequency in the air waves, pilots were having a hard time communicating with the control tower which nobody found interesting, but me.
I began to look in the sky toward the South Mountain Awaktukee area and saw a bright energy glow - and just as I saw
it - the light was gone. Just as I saw this, reports began to come in to Sky Harbor Control Tower of pilots that saw this light.
My Manager carried a walkie talkie in where he communicated with control tower and I heard such news. Just then My Manager stated that there is something in the sky and our whole crew looked up and we saw 3 objects come back at
a distance from each other (maybe miles) just hovering. They disappeared and then we saw 5 objects came back. Everyone was in a - AWWW - I knew they were UFO's,
because this was not my first experience with a sighting. Then a BIG oval shape with an aura came in the middle between all of these UFO's and a last one came through for a total of 7.
At this point, my crew of 12 had stopped working to just admire these hovering glowing objects. On terminal 2 Sky Harbor also has the National Guard airfield. In which about 6:45 we seen a military helicopter depart and slowly make
it's way to where the objects were. They were behind south mountain around the Awaktukee area. The military helicopter was not even a mile out into the
air- When before our eyes six UFO's disappeared and only the biggest one remained for about 3 seconds and was gone.
This happened back when Fife Symington was Governor, nothing was released in the media soon after this event. But I know footage has popped up from everywhere from witnesses on this event. After this day non believers became a
believer in this kind of phenomena. Even though I saw 7 UFO's, I only count it as one whole sighting.
This seemed to have no sound, it flew very slow, straight across in a steady manner. It almost appeared to be too slow
for normal aircraft. There were a few lights on it, but not red and green blinking lights, and not landing lights either.
It flew across the valley where we have never seen planes fly before, there is no flight pattern where this sighting was.
It appeared to be round at first, but at closer range it looked more triangular. We video taped it, but hard to focus. We
did get some good footage, especially when viewed in slow motion. Saturday night a little after 10:00 PM, is when we saw this. July 6, 2002.

My location is not exact but we were about 60 to 70 miles south of Sedona, AZ.

Event Description:
My sighting was very very similar to the sighting of Donald and Jessica H. - Taylor, AZ.
I was drving south on Interstate 17 about 60 to 70 miles south of Sedona, AZ. We drove through some mountains and when we came through the mountains to a clearing we saw this light off our right side of the car (west of us).
There were three of us in the car and we all saw it and couldn't believe what we were seeing. I pulled off to the side of the road and stopped the car. My friend tried getting our camera out quick enough to take a picture, but it took too long to turn on (a digital camera). I did get one picture or the sky after the light was gone.
The light was very very bright. It looked as though it was shining on the ground and it lit up the sky like I have never seen before. It started to vanish not long after we stopped. We may have seen it for only 10 seconds or so while stopped. Altogether about 40 seconds.
Once the light started to disappear, it looked to be changing shape. It looked very hazy or mist around the object. It had a shape like a persons body from the shoulders up. The shoulders and head of someone.
Other people saw it too. One person stopped and he was from Phoenix. He said he has never seen anything like that before. One other person that was drving by, took a picture( I saw a flash within there car). I am glad others saw it too.

This object my son and I saw in the night sky was moving extremely fast. He saw it reverse its shape. It zigzagged and as he explains, "Went into hyper space" and disappeared. It appeared to be gray with a few faint orange spots on it. It had to be far away as it made no noise whatsoever.

At 7:15 PM, on the evening of the 15th of March, I was on our front porch in Taylor, AZ with my wife. I looked out into to sky directly west of our home and saw an image in the sky. There was a round light at the top centermost part of a cloud formation which roughly resembled an angel.
I called this to my wife's attention, and I watched as the light became a double crescent shaped, inverted as in two upside down bowls. The appearance was that of a streetlight shining down through a mist. The lower crescent of light faded, becoming enveloped in mist while it dimmed quickly, leaving only the upper light shining through the mist.
Calling for my sister in law, I returned my gaze quickly to the sight. The mist became brighter as it developed more of a shape of an angel with wings and flowing gown. The remaining light faded quickly, leaving only the shape of the angel hanging in the evening sky. The shape, brighter than the rest of the sky, remained visible for a few minutes longer. A mist hanging in an otherwise cloudless sky, it intrigued and amazed us, as none of us had ever experienced anything of this nature.
The whole time, this "occurrence" lasted no more than fifteen minutes, until the time when the "mist" had faded
completely from sight, and we were left with a clear evening sky. No clouds were anywhere in sight, and there was a plane seen flying in a west-southwest between us and the thing we saw, so they would probably have seen the same
thing, it being visible out their starboard windows.

About five years ago, unfortunately I do not have an exact date, all I know is it was probably in the spring time, and it was late, like 11:00pm.
My younger brother and sister were playing on the roof/balcony one night, They came into the house to show me something they just couldn't explain. I was skeptical, but followed just to humor them.
I stepped onto the roof, and they pointed to the West. I saw three objects, flying slowly very low, in a triangle configuration heading East. The objects looked like no UFO I've ever heard of. They were not metal as far as I could tell, they looked textured. It really sounds crazy, but they were like boulders, floating across the sky.
The objects were spherical, brown and glittery gold where they reflected the light from our movement detector light on the porch/balcony.These things were so close you could have hit them with a BB-gun shot, or even a good stones throw.
After the first set of three passed right over our heads, staying at their slow steady pace, we spotted another form of three or four in either a triangular formation or a diamond formation. They were all the same size and shape. They seemed totally non-mechanical, and made no noise whatsoever. They floated directly over our house.
The next day we scoured the news and news papers for any info that may have been reported, but none ever surfaced.

Ball of light, the size of a VW "Bug" traveled maybe 10 feet off ground. It came from our right at a high rate of speed, lighting up ground as it moved. No sound.
When it got to the highway, it abruptly stopped, hesitated, then raised straight up high enough to clear the semi that
was coming towards us in the other lane--it was a 2 lane road at that point. Then, it came down on the other side of
road, then flew off, at a right angle to road, still low to the ground, lighting up ground as it went. This was a desert area.
It traveled west to east. The next morning the Albuquerque newspaper reported people across 4 states had seen the light--California, Arizona, New Mexico and Louisiana.

My two friends and I are walking home from the store when my friend looks at me and says, 'Look at those three stars over there,' pointing to the East. We all stop and see what looks like three dim stars moving in a line from East to West towards us. It took about 30 seconds for this thing to get right over us. It had three lights at the tips of the triangular craft. It's distance was comparable to the orbit of the moon. It's size was unreal about the size of the Big Dipper. It was darker than the rest of the sky in it's center.

I'm glad to have found your site. My father has observed bright orange orbs that look like they rotate for some time now. Of course being curious, my husband and I went out into the desert where he usually sees them and we also saw them. They appeared and disappeared 3 separate times. We video taped them but didn't bring our tripod so we got the usual jerky video...They were rising over a mountain and would just disappear (not fall or fly off) We had a night vision scope and I could see that these orbs were NOT on the mountain but above it. Through this scope, I could also see that they appeared to rotate (which can also be seen on the video).
We are planning to go out in the next several nights and have found a back road to the other side of the mountain. We are hoping to get a better view since they look like they are coming up from behind this mountain.
My father has seen these same very bright orange orbs have a circular trail behind them and move in all directions...they will be in one spot for about 2 minutes and then reappear in another direction seconds later. They are a bright orange circle and appear one at a time, or several at a time and sometime form the triangle shape that was reported over Phoenix...Well they are bright and the mainly hover in one spot before disapearing and reappearing elsewhere.
We have witnessed them flying horizontally. We also noticed on our video that there are also what looks like sparkles near but, not on the orbs and the sparkles were moving independent of the orbs, my father has called these little sparklers extremely fast strobe orbs....the little tiny sparkles like glitter in the sky wasn't visible to our eyes. Ok, well..I'm am just getting excited here...As I stated earlier we are going in for a closer look and hopefully get some better footage. Needless to say I had always believed my father, but thought that there must be another explanation for these. I was stunned tonight when I witnessed them for myself.
If when we do go behind the mountain we witness anything better or more unusual I can promise you it will be video taped and I will contact you ASAP.
P.S. We kept checking our watches every 5 minutes to assure ourselves that we hadn't "lost time".

I was outside just after dark at 7:40 in back yard looking South. From high in South center sky near the brightest star, a white bright light appeared and headed down towards South East over Estrella Mountains, the location of that old Phoenix sighting.
What was weird is that it was very pronounced, and went much slower than a meteor, but much faster than any plane. I though it might be the Mir crashing slowly, and it was probably a meteor, but it just moved so slow in the sky it seemed different than any other meteor or anything I have ever seen. Who knows, but others must have seen it as it was very bright, slow and pronounced.

Event Description:
While driving home I suddenly noticed a small object moving due south at an extraordinary rate of speed. I tried to later dismiss the event as a meteor, but realized it was well below the scattered clouds. Compared to several airlines in approaching pattern near by it was astounding how fast it moved. I have been buzzed by F-18's before and thought that was fast..however this object was gone over the horizon in an instant. The object appeared from the North over the McDowell Mts. that separate Scottsdale and Fountain Hills. This being said: The object caught my eye at my "10 o'clock" and I lost it out over the reservation to the south of Shea Ave at my "2 o'clock".......I would approximate I witnessed the object travel a distance of around 10 miles in just about a second or so.
It was silvery white and a slender teardrop in shape..and a slight reddish/orange "after burner" was aft...but not trailing as a meteor would do. The thing moved so fast there was not really anyway to catch a real focussed glimpse as far as detail goes. I have 20/10 vision, take no drugs, do not drink and was unstressed and was positively NOT looking for such a thing.
I have attempted to rationalize the event and cannot find an explanation. Not really sure what the heck it was, but I am a very active outdoorsman and was an ecology major in college and have been witness to many of natures odd events....in almost every environment the US has to offer....but this is like nothing....nothing I have ever seen.
In the McDowell Mtns I have found several areas where the Native Americans pounded 'petraglyphs' into the canyon walls. Most are odd...and bear no resemblance to any of the flora or fauna...but seem to be tied to the stellar system. I have found "scars" on the rocks..that are covered in the natural "stain" which the 'petraglyphs' are carved out of,so they were made long before the 'petraglyphs' ... They appear to be "tooled" and not pounded out....circles within circles that have a uniformity that I personally find amazing..... several sets of 5 perfectly parallel lines pointing due North/South that are many yards apart.....just odd stuff. So who knows maybe once .. Long ago .. this area was a hub of activity for such unexplained events. All I know is I saw something I cannot put my finger on. Feedback is welcomed!

Event Description:
I was on vacation in Lake Havasu AZ (to a big Mardi Gras type of party) on a sand bar of Lake Havasu (part of Colorado River)...Memorial Day weekend year 2000.
I took many pictures while there with regular disposable cameras, as well as with my new digital camcorder & new 3.3 mega pixel digital camera. The picture was taken on Memorial Day weekend (not sure was likely on Saturday maybe Sunday), but I did not so realize until after I downloaded it from my camera to my CPU hard drive..even then it was two days later, I realized what was in the picture.
This looks like no plane or helicopter I know of or any other flying craft I am aware of. There was at a time a helicopter was around, but helicopters look nothing like what I caught on the photo. More than anything, I am looking to see if this is a "flying saucer" of some type or if it can be explained as something else. I already tried blowing up the photo on my CPU (have original compact flash card untouched since realizing what I may have captured) and it does not look like a balloon or anything like that.
I can email a copy (digital cameras are great) to a lab or facility to try to authenticate it. Please advise how I can determine what I have in the picture.... Thanks, Bob

The event took place near: A Military Airfield or Base
Event Description:
07/20/02 Saturday 6:50AM: I was traveling with my girlfriend east on 202
about 40th Street, when a bright orb of energy flashed. It had a high dense
glow, hyper white haze.
I then got my girlfriend's attention to it, where we both noticed the AURA. The
aura was stable not moving. It hovered for about 3 minutes with a glow and
dimmed slowly. As it dimmed, we noticed an object, dark gray it was oval shaped.
It hovered over appeared to be the East Valley, miles east of Papago Park area.
We noticed it hover northbound, where another ORB of light appeared. It seemed
to be smaller or maybe further away.
This light transmitted a high vibrant orange/red glow. I couldn't distinguish a
shape... the oval object came close to the second object and before our eyes,
the orange/red glow disappeared.
The oval object hovered back south, to where we first saw the glow appear, then
swiftly back north. I pulled off the freeway to focus better on this
sighting, when my girlfriend says "Its gone" ...
I still pulled over and only noticed some airplanes landing laterally or heading
toward the sky harbor area, south of where the sighting took place.

One object showing as a light.
Event Description:
Five different times,
a light would travel in a non-straight line (some times in a sharp right hand
curve) from the Eastern part of the sky to the Western part of the sky. (5) in
all, in a time span of about 25 minutes.
This is the second night in a row that these lights appeared in the skies of the
East Valley near the Superstition Mountains, east of Mesa, AZ.
Both my wife and I observed these lights on both nights.
