Event Description:

Two very bright lights, orange in color, one in front of the other with quite a large space between them for a while,
but the further away they went the first one seemed to slow down whilst the second one caught up to it,
I know other residents have seen them about 3 months ago

Event Description:

I was on my way to work at 6am when my bus passed through a large area of farmland in Tarbock. As I looked out of the window I could see 1 bright object with another bright object floating above it.
I noticed that lights were brighter than an aircraft ( also they were stationary).
They were also much brighter than the surrounding stars.
I watched the objects for 15 minutes when all of a sudden one of the objects disappeared.
I watched the other object for a further 5 minutes, suddenly that disappeared.

Reported By: Liam - Belfast, Ireland - November 3, 2006

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Belfast, Ireland - Date: October 31, 2006 - Time: 10:10 PM - Witnesses: 2 - Number Of Objects: 9 - Object's Shape: Rectangle -
Event_Description:
These objects were flying in formation and 2 of them left the formation but regrouped in an instant.

They came form a NW direction and then flew off in an E direction.

They were a dull orange colour and I think maybe they were about 2000 ft high. The strange thing about them was they did not seem to have any sort of light source and yet the colour was very clear, ie orange.

The 2 that left the formation seemed liked they were showing off, well thats the impression I got because the rest of the group seemed to wait on them to get back and then they continued on their flight path.

Event Description:
This happened twice. I was standing up behind my house on a clear and cold day, we live beside an Army barracks.

I stood and looked up and saw something hovering in the sky pretty high up. I kept looking at it and watched it.

When I took my eyes off it for 2 seconds to think, I looked up again, it just shot off.

Second time I was going through the town and was in back seat of my Mum's car, we had an open style roof. I looked up and saw the same sort of object, hovering in the sky. Then it flew off.

* * * Reported By: Charles G. - London, UK - May 30, 2004
Subject: UFO Sighting -  Location:  Colindale / Wembley  North London, United Kingdom - Date: November 1994 - Time: 9:25 PM - Witnesses: 2 - Object's Shape: Triangle - Number of Objects: 1 - Object had lights - Object had an Aura or Haze around it - Object changed colors - Object hovered - Additional Information: Jubilee fields/ A406 / Staples corner
Event Description:
I was living in London at the time, three floors up, over looking a large green space; the night was cold, with high cloud cover, like a blanket, reflecting the light from below in an orange haze.

Small amounts of activity could be seen, despite the cold weather and a football teams arc lights, half a mile away, across the fields could be seen, as well as the unusual light traffic on the A406, just beyond the football ground.

The object hovered below the cloud cover, diamond or triangle, it moved so fast, like the pattern of a fly, that it was difficult to discern; first up and fast, then disappearing into the cloud cover and shooting back out again two three miles away in a second, unbelievable!; sometimes it came so close, almost as if it new I was watching; just when I was about to see detail, away it shot! I was transfixed, for what appeared to be hours.

Eventually, I managed, in my excitement, to brake away from the window and I ran down the stairs, to find some witnesses. I managed to drag, skeptically, two friends and rush back to the window, thinking that the show would be finished and me looking like a fool!

When we got to the window, it was still there! We stood in wonder, my initial enthusiasm no longer needed and their cynicism fading fast, for what seemed like an eternity.

It danced fly like and I noted much detail, even though I was enthralled, here are some of them, enjoy.

1. It was triangle shaped.

2. It had a front and a back side. Flat on the bottom, flat at the rear and a three point triangle/cental ridge, pointed nose; very similar to the craft in the film (The Navigator, 1986 ).

3. Sometimes I thought it was translucent but it was not, it was reflective, if it was a colour it could have been perhaps white or light silver, but it got most of its colour from the lights below (Orange).

4. It had rotating lights around the periphery, in a two-second movement. These changed from dark orange to white and the shades in between, but it is possible these could have been reflections of the streetlights below, also orange.

5. The main body of the craft changed slowly from yellow at the tip, to orange and then white.

6. It had no obvious signs of propulsion but moved faster than anything I had ever seen. But it wasn't the speed that caught my eye, it was the fly like movement that it pertained to. Up, up and fast, into the clouds and a second later two miles closer and almost in detail. To the left and then right, in a lateral figure of eight, just like a fly, on your ceiling.

7. We were entranced for what appeared to be hours but when I thought it was moving away and could no longer see detail, we broke away from the window. Then I looked at my watch but only about 45 minutes had passed.

Sometimes I swear I was so engrossed, that I forgot even to think and could almost lift off from the floor! Thank you for reading...........

Reported By: Ashley M. - Hampshire, England - January 2, 2004
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Chawton, Hampshire, England - Date: June 22, 2002 - Time: 9:35 PM - Witnesses: 1 - Object's Shape: "Changing" -
Number of Objects: 1 - Object has an aura or haze around it - Additional Information: near to farmland
Event Description:
My sighting took place in the night I was outside filming with my camcorder. When I became aware of a particularly bright, white, light which I thought was nothing out of the ordinary.

Anyway, I decided to film it and record it. I zoomed in on the object and my opinion changed! The object moved in a line above a dark cloud before dropping through it.

When the object appeared out of the cloud, it was changing shape all the time. It then stopped, stationery and flashed outwards several times which was both weird but amazing too!

It then got smaller and then bigger and was basically a large circle in the sky. It then disappeared behind an approaching cloud, emerging again the other side. I also noticed that from time to time, the UFO had a hazy orange glow around it.

There was no noise also, apart from a few sheep bleating in the field below.

During the filming, the object completely disappeared and then slowly materialized through the dark cloud. I managed to capture this on my camcorder. The UFO then moved out of the cloud and was visible again.

I must have filmed this UFO for about 8 minutes.

Reported by: Mark - Douglas, Isle of Man (UK) - June 4, 2000 - 4:12PM
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Douglas, Isle of Man - Date: July 1996 (estimated) - Time: approx 1:00 PM
Number of witnesses: 1 - Objects Shape: Cylinder - Number of objects: 1 - There were aircraft in the area
Event Description:
It was a clear sunny day. I was just about to open the back door to my house when I heard a low flying jet getting closer. I looked up just in time to see a large metallic Cylinder pass over my house at low level, no more than a few hundred feet.

It had no windows, engines, wings or markings. In close formation was a military jet fighter. This was a dark colour, but I don't recall any markings. It was so close to the cylinder that the nose of the fighter was in front of the rear of the cylinder and the left wingtip was behind the rear of the cylinder. The cylinder was about 2 to 3 times the length of the fighter. The diameter would be around the same as the wingspan of the fighter. I would estimate that they were traveling around 200 miles an hour. They were only in view for about 5-10 seconds before they passed behind the roofs of the adjacent houses

Reported By: Matthew C. & Alex L. - Colwyn Bay, Wales U.K. - 7/17/02 10:54:49 AM
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Colwyn Bay, Wales United Kingdom - Date: 06/30/02 - Time: 3:30 PM
Witnesses: 2 - Objects Shape: Oval - Number of objects: 1 - Object had an Aura or Haze around it
Event Description:
We were going down to a rugby field to take some pictures of me, Matthew, jumping around-for a club. When we were taking them, we heard a buzzing sound. We turned and saw this shape, like a disc on it's side, moving left to right, quite sharply. It was black, and had no markings of any kind.

My friend, Alex, took some pictures, and we are waiting for the film to be used and developed. The focus was out, because as we turned, the camera hit Alex's chest and the auto-focus was knocked to the off-position. We got four pictures. Three of the object flying, and one of the object in front of a hill. After about two minutes, it started coming towards us. Well, as you can guess, we pegged it. We ran and heard it, but right above us. Then, it streaked off, and flew behind the hill

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Leeds, Yorkshire, UK - Date: December 24, 2001 - Time: 11:30 PM
Witnesses: 2 - Objects Shape: Light - Number of objects: 1 - Object had an Aura or Haze around it
Object changed colors - Object hovered - There was interference associated with the object
Event Description:
My boyfriend was watching the TV while I was looking out of the window to see if it was going to snow, as it was Christmas Eve.

My boyfriend started swearing and said the TV had gone all funny. We were at my sister's house, so he shouted her to come and sort it out but she was in the bath. I couldn't be bothered to help, so I continued to look out the window.

About 30 seconds later I saw a light with a kind of misty light around it. It looked low down like a helicopter, that's what I thought it was but there was no noise. That was for sure because by that time, the TV had somehow switched its self off. My boyfriend could not switch it on at all.

I told him to look out the window and he then saw the light thing. About 5 seconds later, it turned from white to an "orangy" colour and shot off faster than we could believe. The lights flickered and then came back on so did the TV

Reported By: John C. - Maidenhead, United Kingdom - July 30, 2001 at 20:53:18
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Maidenhead, United Kingdom - Date: 05/12/2001 - Time: 11:00 PM
County sighting took place: Berkshire - Objects Shape: Unknown - Number of objects: 1 - Object had lights
Object had an Aura or Haze around it - There is a Radio/TV transmitter and Public Airfield in the area
Event Description:
One night coming back from a friend's house, I was driving out in the fields making my way home on the back roads. It was near to home that I noted what i thought was a plane (I live right next to a small airfield.) Planes fly at night from the airfield.

The one strange thing about it was there were too many lights (about 5 or 6) (small aircraft normally have 3 or 4), and very bright and not flashing (small aircraft have a red or white flashing light on the tail fin.)

We also have a couple of blimps at the airfield, but it was way off it's course to be a blimp heading to the airfield. They fly to London in the day, which is completely the opposite direction. They also never fly that late at night, most of the time they land about 8-9 o'clock.

At this time, it was in front to the right of me, heading towards an area of woodland. I decided to deviate from my path home to see what it was, curiosity taking over. I took a small road to the right, heading in to the woodland, but still heading in the rough direction of home. The object was now heading over the woodland.

I turned down my stereo, and opened my window, but there was no sound. I thought that if it was an aircraft, in the silence of the night, I would have been able to hear it. The woods are quite thick and I lost sight of it for a while, until I got to a small break in the trees, it was still to my right. I couldn't see it too well, but it was very low from what I could make out, judging by the size of the lights and brightness on the surrounding area.

Once again the trees closed in and I lost sight again. I carried on, knowing that I would get a better view of it from the fields ahead, but upon reaching the fields, which were no more than 200 feet from the last point of seeing it, it had disappeared. The fields are very large, with only a few trees and very open skies.

If it had carried on in the direction it was heading, I would have been able to see it for a few miles. I stopped the car to look out the window behind me but I could see nothing. I decided to head home, back in the direction of the airfield, assuming that if it was an aircraft I would see it over or around the airfield. It's a very open area, with lots of fields but I could see nothing in the skies. So the mystery remains.

Reported By: C. H. - York, UK - Friday, July 28, 2000 at 1:26 PM
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Bournemouth, UK - Date: Summer 87 - Time: 2 AM
Additional Information: Boscome - Objects Shape: Oval - Number of objects: 1
Object had an Aura or Haze around it - Object hovered
Event Description:
I am not sure of the year offhand, but it can be confirmed by 'included information' to confirm the details listed above.

I was walking back (very late) from the beach at Bournemouth (Boscome) UK about summer 1987.  I entered my road home (Churchill Road) when I saw a large sun like object moving in the sky about (what seemed like) the size of a small hotel.

I observed the object for what appeared to be a small time (about 20 seconds or more). The object which looked like a small sun, moved to the left, then right and back and across a number of times. The distance appeared to be 2 km each direction. The unusual thing was it did not appear to accelerate then decelerate, but appeared to move at a 'Constant' in each direction.

Finally it went back to the centre position, then withdrew away to the sky till it was a 'dot.' This took a second or so.

There was no sound, I went home and did not report it for fear of being considered 'odd.' Six months later when I went back to York, I saw the same object, reported AND photographed on the front page of the York Evening Press newspaper. I have not spoken about the incident, apart from mentioning it to a couple of family and friends.

The incident was real to me. The evening was clear and I was not 'imagining' things. It was an uncommon experience to me and seemed 'normal.' I have no fear of the 'unexplained.'

N.B.: A psychiatrist would look at the event as being a possible psychotic event, which is what I feared, and why I did not report it. I hope the information is of use in your study.
Yours sincerely, Colin

Reported By: Michelle - London, England, United Kingdom - 5/15/02 8:49:02 PM
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: London, England - Country: United Kingdom
Date: 05/15/2002 - Time: 10.30 - 12.00 PM - Witnesses: 2 - Objects Shape: Other - Number of objects: 15
Event Description:
Just lying in the garden this evening looking at the stars when we (me and boyfriend) saw what looked initially like shooting stars. It became apparent that these were unlikely to be shooting stars as they did not appear to be falling down to earth, but skimming across the sky in an erratic fashion.

Moreover, they would travel in all different trajectories, sometimes changing direction, sometimes suddenly speeding up/slowing down.

Sometimes, what looked like a stationary star would all of a sudden dart across the sky - my boyfriend was watching one "star" changing colour, when it suddenly zipped across the sky.

Whatever these objects were, we believe that they must have been very high up as we also saw a number of normal aircraft travelling by over this same period. These lights were considerably higher up than those airplanes and could move at far greater speed.

We only saw these lights separately, and could not say whether they were from one object or came from multiple sources.

Reported By: Fred E. D. - Wisbech, Cambs, England - April 17, 2002 at 17:50:05
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Northwold, Norfolk England - Date: 10/26/85 - Time: 12.30 AM
Witnesses: 1 - Objects Shape: Other - Number of objects: 1 - Object had lights
There was Electrical interference associated with the object
Event Description:
This night, a friend and I were cycling on our way home from another friend's birthday party disco.

We stopped in the middle of the village to take a break. Whilst standing there, I noticed how quiet it was, even though it's obviously quite at that time of night. I mean it was literally "dead quiet"and very dark. The moon wasn't in the sky anyway, but it was a crisp, clear, chill English autumn night. We had been looking at the stars before entering the village.

Before we set off again I looked up, becoming aware of an oppressive, close feeling, and the fact that it was quite warm now. I couldn't see the stars, nor could you see any cloud either, but I could see something although it looked like nothing, blacker than black, like a black hole.

After exclaiming on the lines of, " What the hell?" my friend followed my gaze and also exclaimed somewhat. We got back on our bikes and rode out of the village. I then stopped and looked around, being on quite high ground you could see the horizon level all around bar a few trees. For about 30 degrees from horizon vertical you could still see the stars of the clear sky, but above this it was this black circle.

What ever this was it was very big, I estimated it to be about 100 feet above the ground as I had taken my front cycle light off the bike and shone it up were it was reflected back to us, (as if they had shone a light at us at the same time), so it was obviously reflective, but there were no other local light sources to see reflected either.

If it was 100 feet from the ground and blotted out the sky to 30 degrees from horizon all around, that would mean it was in the region of two miles across! After this, a little perplexed and intrigued, we set of for home, looking back at it the whole way, and it didn't move.

This sighting continues the next year, same month and it's even better.

I was at in my bedroom listening to the radio, about 1:00 AM on the 22 of October 1986. I was taping songs when I heard one that I liked. Suddenly, this horrible weird sound started emanating from the radio, louder than the music was, it made me jump, I immediately reached for the volume so as not to wake up the family.

Turning it up slowly I listened, it made no sense, I've heard computer binary code on tape, but this was nothing remotely like it. I flicked the tuning knob up & down the mw scale it was set on and it didn't change. So, I tried the LW, SW & FM bands as well, running up and down the scale. No change, and as far as I know, nothing man made can do that.

As I had a tape in the radio, I hit record to record it, and then realized the date. I looked out of my bedroom window were I had a perfect view toward Northwold and sure enough, there was a blacker than black elliptical shape hovering above the village. Same in length as the circumference of the one we had seen the previous year. It was round, but domed top and bottom, resembling the 'cigar' shape people talk about, because I was looking at it side on.

This time however, I could see a red light moving across it's 'back,' from right to left of my view, going out at the end then coming back on at the right hand side again. With this, I grabbed my coat and left the house. I went up to my friend's house in the next village, who was with me the year before, to tell him about it.

I wondered if he had been listening to the radio and asked him this as I walked into his bedroom. He replied "No, but I heard" The thing with this is my friend had a commodore computer tape recorder he nicked from school, and he was playing an audio tape at the time, but this still came over the speaker, wiped the tape clean from when it started to were he unplugged it.

Again the following year, 1987 it came again, early after midnight but this time in September. I started heading out to Northwold to take another close look at it, but before I could get there, the RAF sent out some tornado's to buzz it, or hassle it. It flew off, not fast though, I might add.

I still have this tape and have copied it to my computer in WAV & mp3 format. I have sent this tape to just about all of the world's best labs and they have all sent it back stumped.

Listening to it over since I've had it, it seems to me to be a kind of data transfer, interrupted a few times by a distinct barking kind of language, so could it have been a data transfer to an orbiting mother ship. What made it so plainly audible when nothing had ever been picked up before and since. Do they use some kind of 'sound' cloak, or something like subspace radio, that malfunctioned that night? Might be a reason why the SETI people aren't finding anything?

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire, England - Date: 02/12/02 - Time: 10:30 PM
Objects Shape: Unknown - Number of objects: 1
Event Description:
When returning home from a few games of snooker, I was looking at the sky, as I always do on clear nights, hoping to see a satellite. I have seen many and can distinguish them from planes.

This night, I saw what looked like a satellite but was a dull red colour, unlike the stars and planets visible that night. What made this memorable, was the fact that having traveled in a straight line for about fifteen degrees of the sky, west to east, it abruptly turned off to east/south/east. It did not curve, bank or pause in any way whatsoever. I realize that this report is not of a spectacular nature but I wondered if such a thing had been witnessed before?
Yours faithfully, John H

Witnesses: 2 - Objects Shape: Diamond - Number of objects: 2 - Object had lights
The event took place near A Military Airfield or Base - Additional Info: Near Gaydon, towards Leamington Spa
Event Description:
Me and my wife had just pulled off our drive in Bishops Itchington. The time was 18:45 and dark. As we looked up, we both saw a diamond formation of 4 bright yellow lights in the shape of a diamond with a red one on the top, to the left. It moved very slowly emitting no noise. We followed it for about 10 miles, to Leamington Spa. Other people along the way appeared to have seen it as well, as cars had stopped by the side of the road. Also, the car in front of us was driving very slowly whilst looking at it.

In the time we witnessed it, for 25 minutes, it changed shape to two bright yellow lights, they also changed shape from being vertical to horizontal. When we got off the main road in Leamington Spa, by the police building, I noticed another collection of the same diamond shaped lights coming from Leamington and heading towards Stratford Upon Avon. That was the direction that the original one was heading when we left it. A truly memorable day.

There was interference associated with the object - Additional Information: Open field
Event Description:
I had just left my girlfriends and was walking through the local park. I heard a strange whooshing noise. First of all I thought someone was behind me. I don't know why, but as I looked up, there was an object above my head. It must have only been about 200 feet above the ground. The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end. There was a strange humming noise from the Craft, and a sort of mist around the outer edges, with a dim light that span around the edge of the craft about once every ten seconds.

The craft shifted upwards about another 200 feet in about a second, stopped then headed east. I have never seen speed like it. I stood fixed to the ground wondering what I had just seen. As I looked at my watch, the object must have only been above me for about 1 minute but it seem forever. I carried on walking I could hear what sounded like air force jets speed past. Since this, I have only told my girlfriend and she thinks I'm 'mad.' I know what I saw, and I know now we are NOT ALONE.

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Liverpool, England - Date: 1997 - Time: AM
Witnesses: 3 - Number of objects: 1
Event Description:
This sighting took place in the summer of 1997.  I, along with my son and girlfriend at the time, were relaxing in an old Victorian cemetery. It was a boiling hot day. There were no clouds in the sky and the sun, which was behind us, was blazing. My son was 9 years of age at the time. I was 34. It was my son who spotted it first. He happened to look up toward the sky and spotted, what he thought, was a black balloon.

He shouted at me to look up toward it. As we looked, it became obvious to all of us, that this was no balloon we were looking at. It moved slowly toward the cathedral that was in front of us. As it moved, it flipped over on itself .. like a coin would move if tossed up in the air.

It was oval shaped, completely black all over. As it flipped over, again and again the sun's light hit the edges of the object. The edges of the object glowed a bright golden colour. We were astounded.  I had never seen anything like it before in my life. I timed the object. Keeping one eye on my watch and the other on the object.  All in all the sighting lasted about 6 minutes before we lost it in the glare of the sun. There were planes up in the sky at the time when we spotted this object. Also, there was a man painting the cathedral at the time when this was going on. He seemed to be completely oblivious to what we were seeing.

I have since tried to find any and every conceivable photo I could get my hands on to see if the object that we spotted 3 years ago matched those on the photos. All to no avail. To this day I still don't know what it was that we saw. It has haunted me for 3 years and I often look toward the sky when I am within the vicinity of the cathedral. This sighting took place in England, Liverpool, where I was born.  I got in touch with our local airport to report this sighting but was told that they no longer accept UFO reports.

I then got in touch with a guy who is an ex-policeman who now studies UFO phenomena full time. When I rang and described the object to him he told me that was the first time an object like that had been spotted in England. From what I told him, he said that that particular object is normally spotted in the United States. He did not expand on what he meant by saying that this thing was normally spotted in the USA And that this was the first time that this thing had been spotted in the UK skies.

Anyway, I did not know what to make of it. I hope by reporting this it would at least shed some light as to what it was and ease my mind. I have since seeing the object had numerous UFO dreams. Again, thank you for your attention. I am seriously thinking about investing in a digital camcorder for any future sightings that I may have. If any of your readers could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Reported By: Jessica P. - Faversham (Canterbury), Kent - Britain/England - 6/23/00 at 4:29 AM
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Faversham (Canterbury),Kent - Country: Britain; England
Date: April 2, 1999 - Time: 2:30 AM - Witnesses: 1 - Objects Shape: Oval -Number of objects: 1
Lights: Object had lights - Did the object hover: Object hovered - Other: See explanation below
Event Description:
I had to leave my house for my flight to Spain, at 3:00 AM. I was ready a bit early. I was just sitting in my bedroom, reading a magazine when by pure coincidence, I decided to look out of my window to spot any planes because I was catching one in about three hours. So, for some reason, I had planes on my mind, because I was obviously excited. It took about two minutes until I spotted an object (an oval shape) with lights spaced, going right around the Craft. It was traveling above (and quite fast!) the tiny land of woods, just behind my house. It was traveling directly towards the space between my house and the sky.

Then all of a sudden, it made sharp turn right. Then it hovered in the sky completely still. Then the lights around the Craft began to flash. This would continuously happen for five seconds and then all the lights would turn off for exactly five seconds. This happened for a while, then eventually I began to get scared, as the thought of aliens scared me. I quickly ran to get my Mum who was in the bedroom next to mine. I was shouting at her to get out of bed. Eventually she got out of bed and came to my room. I showed her the object that was still hovering in the sky and I showed her the five-second difference between the flashing lights. She looked at it and thought nothing of it. She just simply said 'Oh, it's nothing. I'm too tired, I'm going to bed.' (She does not believe in the Paranormal.) With that, she left my bedroom and went to bed. The object was still there when I left the house. Nobody believed me at school, nor at home, but I know what I saw! Thank you for letting me report the Sighting in this way. I have been wanting to report it for sometime, but I didn't know how!

Reported by: Kelly -  Northumberland, England - December 29, 1999 - 4:04 AM EST
Subject: UFO Sighting - Event Location: Northumberland, England - Time: 8.20 am - Date: 12/28/99
Event Zip Code: NE65OES - Additional Information: AMBLE
Witnesses: 1 - Objects Shape: Fireball - Number of objects: 2 - Object had lights - Emitted beams of light
Event Description:
At approximately 8.20 AM, on Tuesday 28 December 1999. It was just getting light outside when up in the sky out of my kitchen window I caught a glimpse of something strange. I knew it wasn't a helicopter or plane as there were no trails left behind the object in the sky. I stood amazed as I saw 2 trails of what looked like light or flames coming out of the back of the object. The object was falling directly from the sky vertically with the light/flames above it. Then I saw another object approaching from a diagonal, exactly the same description as the other. I went for my camera, but couldn't remember where it was, so I rushed back to the window just to see the first object going behind a cloud. I could still see a faint light shining through the cloud and then I could no longer see it as it went behind a house roof out of view. I have never seen anything like this before. What where they? Who knows?

Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Ballingry - Fife, Scotland - Date:  12/16/2000 - Time: 1600-1945 PM
Witnesses: family - Objects Shape: Light - Number of objects: one - Object had lights
Object had an Aura or Haze around it
Event Description:
As I was driving through Lochgelly (FIFE, the wife noticed several people looking through bino`s at a bright light in the sky). So we pulled over and looked up into the sky and saw this bright shining light which looked like a very bright star. (I say star as this object did not move) but it seemed too close to be a star.

We drove home and looking through the back window of the house it was still very visible 3 miles from where we had stopped in the car previous. I made a note of the time and it was 1730 PM. At 1845 PM the bright light had vanished.

I proceeded to go out and have a good look, but it was no longer there. I had watched this (bright light) for a good 20 minutes and it didn't move change colour nor make a noise. Then I went to do something and when I went back it had disappeared. I describe this as a very bright light, bigger and brighter than at first thought to be the North Star, brighter and closer than 'Hale Bop' but, of course, not moving. Tonight, 17 DEC 2000 I have looked very closely for this object but, it has definitely gone.

Reported by John:  -  Pentland Hills. Scotland  -  December 12, 1999
As to myself, I have seen an object in the sky which I could not identify as any conventional craft I have ever seen (I am ex-military and part of my training was aircraft recognition. I am also not a crank and believe that there is something other than Human Beings, in this universe). Anyway, this craft was shaped like a pear and was hardly moving at the time, which was in February of this year.

My first thought was that it was a helicopter. It was moving that slowly. Then suddenly it seemed to stretch itself out, then disappear over the Pentland hills. It was silver and kept reflecting light. no matter how you looked at it. I watched it for around 10 minutes. I told my family what I saw, and was just laughed at (usual response) and never reported it.

In May when I was out with my dog, I also saw what I thought was a star suddenly light up really bright just out side my house. It then went dim, at which point I noticed it was moving. It then lit up again and then disappeared.

Now, because I am in a flight path, I thought it must have been a plane. As I was intrigued, I called Edinburgh Airport about it. They put me through to some Department that takes down UFO reports. They did not confirm or deny if any aircraft were over the area, at that time (11:40pm) approximately. I did not hear from them again

In August of this year while in the garden with my wife she suddenly pointed up to the sky and asked what I thought that was (perfect summer day in Scotland which is very rare, clear blue skies).

I looked up and at first could not see anything. After letting my eyes adjust, I saw what looked like three balloons floating in the air very high up. An airplane flew past them, which was very large, but the objects were up above and slightly behind it. I got my "bino's" out and focused on the objects, which seemed to be moving around each other at alternating speeds and in no set pattern. They were also metallic looking. They then drew into a line and shot upwards until my wife and I lost sight of them. Overall, this had lasted about 20 minutes. That's it, my whole experience of UFO's

Witnesses: 2  -  Objects Shape: Light  -  Number of objects: 2 - Event took place near: A Military Airfield or Base
Event Description:
Two green lights, which appeared to be quite high (about 25000feet ), flew towards us at about 1:30 am. It was a very starry night in the north of Scotland. The two lights traveled parallel to each other for a couple of seconds then parted and did a circle each, then flew off in different directions at a much higher speed (about ten times faster than a high cruising airliner). We were at R.A.F. Kinloss, for our Annual Summer Camp, when we saw this experience.
