Kansas City 2 | St. Louis | Grandview | Branson | Kansas City

Reported By: Melinda S. - Kansas City, Missouri - August 9, 2001 at 10:59:31
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Kansas City, Missouri - Zip Code: 64138 - Date: 8/8/01 - Time: 1:30 AM
County sighting took place: Jackson - Witnesses: 1 - Objects Shape: Circle - Number of objects: 1
Object had lights - Object landed - Seen from I-435 southbound, on the SE side of Kansas City

Event Description:
It was a cylindrical object with lights around the perimeter which flashed wildly, like something you would see over the dance floor at a club (but not a disco ball; more flat/cylindrical). It was only about 1/4 mile SE of my position.  It descended at a sharp angle, about 60 degrees, and seemed to land in a residential area. I didn't see it land, as it dropped behind trees and houses. Other cars were on the road around me; I hoped some would come forward. It looked like nothing I've ever seen in the sky before.

Reported By: David M. - Arnold, Missouri - December 14, 2000 at 12:26:06
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: St. Louis, Missouri - Date: 12-12-00 - Time: 10:15 PM
County: St. Louis - Objects Shape: Light - Number of objects: 1 - Object had lights
Additional Information: Traveling S on 270 between 40 & 44
Event Description:
While driving home from work, I noticed a strangely large bright 'something' in the sky about 5 miles to the East. By the time I looked at it, it flew at about tree level over the highway heading west. It was very bright and large, did not make any noise, and was going faster than any technology we have. It went over 5 miles in less than 3 seconds. I wanted to call the police when I got home, but I have a good reputation in my small town. If you know what I saw, what the heck was it?

Reported by: Kathy I - Grandview, MO - June 17, 2000 at 4:29: PM
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Grandview, MO - Date: June 16, 2000 - Time: 9:21
Zip Code: 64030 - Additional Information: About ten or twelve miles from B.K. - County of sighting: Jackson
Witnesses: 7 - Objects Shape: Oval - Number of objects: 7 - There were aircraft in the area
Event Description:
second one. The fourth one flew by at five miles an hour (all objects flew at that It was about 9:21 that I saw a small, very hard to see object hover across the sky before six others came following behind it.

The formation that I saw was not like I had seen before. After the second object, another flew by, only it was at least a few hundred (?) feet from the same speed) on the opposite side of the third (and so on). A group of teenagers were walking back home and one had claimed that he had seen "at least four" and waved his hand to the sky.

After the seventh object flew by I saw a plane going straight towards the uneven line of objects. But it wasn't chasing them. The objects were way above the clouds and the plane was below. That night the sky was so cloudy that you had to look between the parted clouds if you were to see the sky. The objects were heading from northeast to southwest. The plane was heading from southeast to northwest.

Reported by: Kathrine I - Kansas City Missouri - May 28, 2000 - 6:46 PM EST
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Branson Missouri - Date: 5/27/00 - Time: 7:05 - Number of witnesses: 2
Objects Shape: Sphere - Number of objects: 1 - Object had an Aura or Haze around it - Object hovered
Additional Information: By the waterwheel in front of Silver Dollar City
Event Description:
The UFO I saw this weekend was like the one I saw before. But this one came out from beyond the trees, hovered like a helicopter for three straight minutes and faded out of sight.

The weather for that day was very cloudy, the clouds in the background were very dark/light blue. The man next to me seemed to be watching the same area when I was. He had this face on him like he'd seen a ghost. When his wife returned, I didn't quite hear what he was saying to her, but they sure left in a hurry.

I seemed to be amazed by my second sighting in a month. I stood up for two straight minutes staring at the sky. I didn't care about the people looking at me as they passed by.

Reported by: Kathy I. - Kansas City Missouri - May 20, 2000 - 9:26 PM EST
Subject: UFO Sighting - Location: Kansas City Missouri - Zip Code: 64030 - Date: 5/12/00 - Time: 6:05  PM
County sighting took place: Missouri - Number of witnesses: 1 - Objects Shape: Sphere - Number of objects: 1
Object had lights - Additional Info: Just before you hit the Grandview triangle/1 mile
Event Description:
I was in the car with my brother, sister-in-law and nieces, heading south.
I was the only one watching the skies when the sighting occurred. My brother was too busy talking with his wife and I knew he was not going to be interested, so I kept to myself. I never told him to look south west, so it was only me who saw it. The UFO was a sphere shape and was very hard to see unless you looked very closely at it. It was a white color and very clear. The UFO hovered for several seconds before it slightly lifted and disappeared behind a cloud. The sighting lasted for at least 10 seconds before it disappeared.
