Additional Information: About ten or twelve miles from B.K. - County sighting took place: Jackson
Witnesses: 7 - Objects Shape: Oval - Number of objects: 7 - There were aircraft in the area
Event Description:
It was about 9:21 that I saw a small, very hard to see object hover across the sky before six others came
following behind it. The formation that I saw was not like I had seen before. After the second object, another flew by, only it was at least a few hundred (?) feet from the second one. The fourth one flew by at five miles an
hour (all objects flew at that same speed) on the opposite side of the third (and so on).
A group of teenagers were walking back home and one had claimed that he had seen "at least four" and waved
his hand to the sky. After the seventh object flew by I saw a plane going straight towards the uneven line of objects. But it wasn't chasing them. The objects were way above the clouds and the plane was below. That night
the sky was so cloudy that you had to look between the parted clouds if you were to see the sky. The objects were heading from northeast to southwest. The plane was heading from southeast to northwest.

Description Of the event: Time-10:30am Date- 7-12-99
Two friends and I were on a week long fishing trip, just north of Darby, MT when Steve, one of my fishing companions, noticed something in the sky just over a nearby ridge. Before I had a chance to see what he was talking about, Dave, the other person with us, shouted, "hey look, there's another one over there". Just as I saw what he was shouting about, this thing shoot across the sky so fast, I lost track of it until Steve said, "LOOK, there's two of them over there now." This was the first chance I had to get a good look at them. They seemed to be Triangular in shape, they were to far away to be sure. We could not see any lights on them. The color of these things was dark gray, almost black. After watching these things hover for a minute or so, they flew right over the top of us like they were shoot out of a cannon and all we heard was a slight swishing sound of air being displaced. As they flew over us, they became almost transparent. Fast as they appeared, they vanished.
